The Palmy NZ Van Lines team helped me and my three flatmates move last month and were absolutely fantastic. They were prompt, affordable, helpful, and so super fast! We really appreciated how they wanted to make things as easy as possible for us as we waited for our new house keys, and each of the three guys had a 10/10 great attitude. We simply couldnt have done it without them, I will happily recommend them to everyone. Thanks guys!

Should have looked at the reviews before choosing my movers. Worst experience ever using NZ Vanlines! The movers managed to drop a white couch in the grass, break a bedside table top, sat on our couches when resting, dressed in singlets, getting their sweat on the fabric and tracked dirt through the carpet in the brand new home we moved into from dirty boots. In emails from the PN branch manager, apparently it's my fault as I didn't get the insurance option through them and there was only a couple things with his teams presentation needing addressing. Very little care or appreciation shown for someone else's property. Must mean they can do what they want in moving, when insurance isn't covered be them...

Would give it 5 stars but the amount of paper to wrap your stuff is a bit excessive. The lads who came to pack up were great and well mannered. Moved stuff in New house no problems.

My belongings were shipped from the UK and whilst in storage in Palmerston North several boxes were broken into and items stolen. Wouldn't recommend or trust this company ever again.

This was such a dissapointing experience. Almost every piece of furniture was damaged, and about 1/2 of the stuff was jammed in boxes without any order or care. Some boxes were only half full, the rest was filled with paper. So much damage was done, even though we were promised to be moved by professionals". I would never recommend using this company - the insurance for the move was high

The packing/loading staff were wonderful. I am however a bit concerned about what they have told me. They told me that their boss consistently over-quotes the Defense jobs they do (i.e, paid for with tax payers money) by at least 10 cubic meters.If they are moving an average of 10 defense jobs in the manawatu a day, that is 100m3 that they have added on top of the pricing, which adds up quite fast.I have been told this has been going on for years, and that their sales man, Darryl is responsible for this.I find this rather dishonest, and will be looking further into the matter.
