We love Vet Rob and the team - we have been taking our rescue Choccy since we adopted him, and have always found Dr. Rob to be so understanding, helpful and supportive of the complex issues he has had. We had been waiting for weeks for our Vet to be able to cut our 16yrs old Beautiful longhaired cats nails. decided to ring Robs and we were able to get in straight away with our masks on and distancing, he said her nails were starting to grow into her skin!! 10 minutes later it was all done and dusted and we appreciated his professional manner and his lovely receptionist!! Well done!!

Dog minder took our dog to Vet Rob as she had major skin issues while we were away. The vet disgnosed fleas, but we always keep her Nexguard doses up and they were told that at the outset.No skin scrapings were done regardless of the greasy thick scale on her back. Cost $164:00 Weeks later she was still very unwell and took her into Horowhenua Vets, who scraped all the infected areas which they checked under the microscope while we waited. She has an advanced bacterial problem plus a fungal infection and has had to have 2 lots of antibiotics and steroids. Today I went back to Vet Robs for a chat about a possible partial refund due to the extreme misdiagnosis and the fact my girl was left in misery until Horowhenua Vets sorted her. His receptionist told me today they won't even look at a refund as often things are misdiagnosed ...like at the doctor's....no one refunds if they're wrong...tough luck. If that's your standard of care and customer service" then if you care about your dogs like we do then we urge you to NOT use this vet!!!"

Rob Bloomfield was fantastic. I feel reassured with all the information he gave us regarding our 14 year old dog who has lymphoma. Appointment wasn't rushed and he thought of 2 other things I had wanted to ask about but forgot. I totally recommend him.

Took very good care of our elderly dog. Absolutely friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend vet rob.

Needed an emergency appointment for dog to be put down... could only give us o e 3 days away and no alternative given.. you lost us as customers this day.
