A large modern cafe with plenty of space around patrons, a modest selection of counter food and a good kitchen menu all well presented, all the staff are helpful and the service is great.

Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The cabinet food I had was not the crispiest. The coffee was solid.Good but not great. Next time I may try the menu.

The Lab Cafe
Great coffee shop with amazing coffee, lots of healthy food options (vegan, gluten free, dairy free and nut free), lots of space between tables and friendly service. Doors can open wide enough to be wheelchair accessible. We felt very welcome and actually stayed for a second cup of coffee after brunch because we enjoyed the atmosphere so much. Highly recommended for a weekday or Saturday visit (closed on Sundays). We'll be back!

Superb food and service even when busy. Thought their chicken curry Wellington on a Plate burger 2021 was one of the best I had all festival (pictured).

Won't be coming back. Forgot my order last time. This time got seated next to the bathroom even though there were lots of empty seats. They basically fenced of part of the restaurant to speed service up which would be good if the service was any good. The Lab is basically the MacDonalds of cafes designed to get you in and out as fast as possible with uncomfortable chairs loud accostics and below average service that makes you go to the counter for any service right down to the sugar for your coffee. Wellington has far better cafes than this.

Best breakfast burger in Wellington! So tasty, fresh and great value for money. The service was exceptional and the cafe was very spacious and clean. Great place to have a coffee, fresh juice or a meal and watch the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommend
