Wairaka Centennial Park
I brought my father down here to watch his great grandson play in the park. My father was very sick, so it was nice to be able to park in the mobility park right next to the playground, so he could watch from the car.This was my father's last outing before he passed away, 6 days later.

This is a wonderful place to enjoy-the sea, birds, landscape, the river and the people.Wairaka standing on the rock at the port entrance in the late afternoon light is amazing!

It's a park that attracts families, friends to get together , there's a barbecue facility,people go biking,walk their dogs,go jogging,do a bit of fishing,and kids enjoy the playground.
