Wicked walk ,heading down towards the lake was good ,track was easy going ,bit muddy in places ,great bush walk ,bird life was active good to get away from reality was great

Be prepared if you come on a rainy day, the track can be muddy and wet, but unique experience. A lot of fungus can be found. Worth to visit

Fantastic track that is well signposted with little yellow arrows leading all the way to the lake and back.A bit of a drive along a metal track and just okay so I’m posting.I’d say this truck was a little bit more challenging than just for kids.

Head down South road from Mamaku along a gravel road for several kms. Car park" is a bog but you can get your car mostly off the road.Fairly easy loop track

It is early Feb and we walked this track and saw soooo many mushrooms. Red blue black and white! What an experience!!
