Highly recommend. For me, this was the best Indian cuisine I have had in a very long time.Evert dish I had was different in its uniquely delightful flavours. The staff and service were great, friendly and well informed regarding the dishes.I left feeling like it was a pleasure for someone to cook for me.

I took a friend who has never had Chaat before and she really enjoyed the experience. Everything tasted perfectly spicy, sweet, sour, and salty as good Chaat should. The Chole, which was served as part of the Chole Bhature was excellent. Richer than some I’ve had.My only issue would be the portion sizes are definitely restaurant style and not Street Food Style. But, if you got just the Chaat Hours (daily $9 specials between 11-5pm) you’d be stoked with the price to size ratio.Really enjoyed visiting the once!

Went there for lunch on Friday and the food was lovely, very cool and different Indian food. They tried to seat us on this tiny table squashed in between a couple of other people, even though the rest of the entire restaurant was completely empty so that was a bit weird. Went back today For lunch but it was different staff and they were not as friendly, also tried to seat us in a weird place, even though the whole restaurant was empty when we got that, except for one other person.I’m surprised this place isn’t busier because the food is really good and the place is really cool.

Food is really yum and for central cbd prices are as expected $$$. I’m not really into tapas sharing style though as my friend is vegan and I’m not so makes it a little awkward. Tables are quite small for sharing as well so bit awkward lots of reaching over and lots of moving glasses etc off tables. All and all if your into tapas then I’d definitely recommend otherwise if your like me and don’t like sharing then probably not for you. I went as a friend booked it. The Wellington on a plate dish looked really yum!

This year, instead of spending money on Xmas presents my family and I chose to treat ourselves to a delicious feast of Indian street food at Chaat Street and it was a true celebration. The staff was kind and considerate of our party of 6 and our two babies. The food took us straight back to India. Thanks to the Chefs and wait staff - clearly so much care was taken in preparing authentic tasty food. We ordered a lot and left with full hearts and full bellies. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks for saving us the cost of airfare and jet lag and bringing Indian street food to us!

No doubt the food is very good. Setting is too bright, too cold, too noisey and could easily be massively improved. If you have to go to the toilet wait for the single one on the same floor. Venturing upstairs leads to toilets that would put portaloos on the 3rd day of Glastonbury a preference. They've nailed the hard part, great food, why be so poor or the other components!?
