We needed a complete floorings change for our new house (ex-rental). Vanessa (in the shop) recommended a combination of carpet and vinyl slats that were perfect for purpose - unlike another store that recommended a 'vinyl solution' that was not ideal for kitchen/laundry wet areas. Unlike the 'other store' the quote contained everything that we asked for - no extras.The poor guys that did the install rated our old smelly vinyl that needed pulling up as some of the worst they'd pulled up. It simply was stuck down soooo hard, it took the guys hours. Despite this, they worked away until 6pm and got it all done. The finishing of the vinyl slats (cutting/shaping in the corners) was perfect. The carpet install was also perfect, and I was seriously impressed with the attention to detail, joins and all. They even did the whole hot water cupboard, not just the easy-to-reach bit. That attention to detail speaks volumes.A fantastic service from the initial shop visit to the end with great advise and no pricing extras/surprises. Thanks team from Te Kowhai :)

The team were very helpful, gave us great advice with the vinyl option to replace our floor in bathroom, laundry and toilet. Process was easy and we didn't have to wait long to get the floor installed. Isiah was professional and did a great job on install. Definitely would recommend, and would get our carpets done by them in the future.

I recently replaced all the carpet in my house. I found John at Flooring Design very easy and pleasant to deal with.He offered advice during the initial conversations discussing options and helped throughout the process of measuring, ordering and installing. The team doing the installation were efficient and professional and did a very good job. Would recommend them to anyone looking at laying carpet.
