Basic counselling, helpful for people who really need someone to talk to and want suggestions and advice, but not it's not therapy. Kind of feels like the fast food version of psychology.

I would never go again. We went for family counselling and the counsellor was horrible towards me. She encouraged my abusive mother to continue to be abusive. I would not trust these people. What kind of person does that?

Absolute garbage. For a company touting acute mental health support their wait times for an appointment exceeded four weeks. Flagrantly negligent of their responsibilities under the privacy act and if you raise a complaint about your concerns it gets swept under the rug and ignored unless you follow up repeatedly at which point you get to speak with the bullish manager who’s got no issues telling you he’s never going to acknowledge the complaint has been received, and while he’s aware of his responsibilities under the privacy act refuses to release (and acknowledges systematically deleting) your personal information.
