This was a great short bush walk to do with the kids. Lots of Tuis and fantails. The walk through the bush is mostly flat but there is a bit of a steep hill on the walk to the bush from the road.

Simply beautiful. Nice short walk. Would be great in summer under all the trees.

A well looked after Bush and very interesting. it was great to walk in and let your imagination run wild. The area has History. it was like being in an old Native NZ Bush.

Absolutely amazing!! Except for the huge hill and lookout, it would be mostly pushchair and wheelchair friendly. The matinence is awesome, and the trees are absolutely beautiful!

Yarndleys Bush
A really special place. Felt like I was in another world, and it's only a few minutes drive from town. Beautiful trees and fun to walk on the boardwalk that flows with the massive tree roots. Interesting bits of information to read along the way. Easy walk too. Nice to get a quick dose of the bush.

A lovely walk to do with the family. Pram friendly apart from the viewing platform, and you have to lift it over the gate at the very start of the walk, and there's a steep path down from the road to the start of the walk. A few mosquitoes.

Absolutely recommend for a easy walking trail with breathtaking views of the beautiful kahikatea trees, birds and more. Our 3 year old son loved the viewing platform as did me and my partner feeling so at peace with the forest and wildlife! Incredible to see how the forest floor flourishes off the surrounding trees. Loved seeing the few information signs to acknowledge what your seeing and how long its been there
