The Helicopter Line, Mount Cook

We made an impulse decision to see if there was any last minute availability yesterday afternoon, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us booked in for the Alpine Explorer trip. The whole experience was magical - our pilot gave a super interesting commentary, telling us all about the different mountains, glaciers and surrounding landscape. The views were breathtaking. We landed on snow and had a good opportunity to take it the views and get some photos. Felt very safe and well informed throughout. Really the experience of a lifetime and something we will remember forever. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience. Staff were very accommodating and helpful, Gillie our pilot was friendly and informative and made sure we all enjoyed our flight. The views were spectacular, a must do if you’re in the Mount Cook area.

Best experience ever!! It’s been a week ago and we’re still glowing from the awesome heli hike on Tasman Glacier. They provided us with all the info we needed via the telephone and on the day itself everyone was super friendly. Our guide Troy was very profession but also super kind and fun! As well as the pilot and all the other staff. The scenery during the flight and on the glacier was just beautiful.We can highly recommend this company to everyone!

This trip was more than worth it!It was an great experience!The flight onto the snowfield with landing: simply wow!And then the flight back over this beautiful blue lake Pukaki was amazing.Our guide was super nice and friendly and we would book this adventure there again anytime.

We did the heli hike on the Tasman glacier, and it was absolutely one of the top experiences of my life. My wife was scared going into it, but was so glad she did the trip with me. We were very fortunate that we got to explore 2 ice caves on the glacier.

I recently had the opportunity to take a helicopter tour with the company that offers Mount Cook glacier landing and I must say, it was an incredible experience. I was able to book the tour at the last minute and the company was very accommodating. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process.The helicopter was in excellent condition and I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth and quiet the ride was. The views were breathtaking and I was able to capture some amazing photos of the glaciers and mountains. The pilot was also very skilled and made sure to fly over some of the most beautiful and unique features of the area.The Mount Cook glacier landing was the highlight of the tour for me. I was able to step out of the helicopter and stand on the glacier, which was truly a once in a lifetime experience.Overall, I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to take a helicopter tour of the glaciers in the area. They provide excellent service, a safe and enjoyable ride, and unforgettable experiences.

Amazing morning on the heli hike tour to the Tasman Glacier. Felt safe with guide Scott & pilot Sam. They were very knowledgeable and made me feel welcome. We had awesome views of Aoraki/Mt Cook & nearby peaks from the helicopter, and great time seeing blue ice caves and walking on the Tasman Glacier. Only sad I couldn’t stay longer! Would recommend to anyone!

What a great experience. Defiantly a must for Mount Cook. Very good pilot and staff and of course our “co pilot” too. I could not propose to my partner in a better way. Will defiantly book again.
