We had a great day at Motuarara Trotting Club.Plenty of parking clean bathrooms great food fun for the grandchildren we will be back again.Grandchildren had fun with the pony rides&playing with farm yard animals.The horse racing betting was very kind to me!! Lol

Great day of horse racing in true New Zealand style. Arrived with $10 per adult drive in, teens and children in the back free. Taking a gazebo, bbq, picnic and drinks, all could have been provided here. But the ability to pull it out of the boot and have your own day was great.Toilets were clean and catered well for the numbers.Activities and fun for the teens and children.Tote boxes to make a bet available. Cash facilities also available.Able to go drink in the bar or in the stand if required.Horse racing great fun

Place seems good but get there early or you wont be able to stay as you have to pay in a shop nearby before it close. We were late and prefered sleeping somewhere else instead of get a fine

Akaroa trotting meeting in December is always a fun day at the races. The fields this year were great...great country grass track racing. Live music fantastic. Can't beat it for everything including our Christmas break up.

You wouldn't believe this area until you see for yourself.. For Camping, picnics, BBQ, big horse racing course with big old covered grandstand.. Wod make an awesome 3 day music festival venue..

It's always really really hot there .... couldn't find a park under a tree had to keep circling. It's a fun family day out though, there's a petting zoo and ice cream, donut, and other food stands. There was a water fun ride as well. The races are fun, the atmosphere is nice - relaxed summer family.
