I had a set of pendant lights installed after installing a brand new kitchen, beautiful english oak flooring and appliances. During the install a tool was dropped and took a chunk out of the floor and dented our dish drawer. The Managing Director, Trevor refused to even discuss this damage saying it was not his technician and was not prepared to do anything further, unbelievably poor customer service. Should have taken them to the Disputes Tribunal, however my time is more precious. Stay away from these guys, far better electricians are available and if you have an issue they are terrible to deal with.

Our house was damaged by lightning and the alarm would not stop. Helix were so incredibly responsive. They had a man here in an hour (Ben, I think) who was efficient, knowledgeable, easy-going & professional. A huge weight off to find a place this helpful in such a stressful situation. Will use for all my future projects now!

We had Helix come and help with some home renovations in early April, installing new lights in our kitchen and bathroom. They were very professional, on time every day and a great team to chat with throughout the day. They completed the job much faster than we had initially planned for and we are super happy with our new lights!Special mention to young Josh who was an apprentice working on one of his first jobs. Great attitude for a new kid in the trade and I can tell he’ll be going places.

Very nice tradesmen who turned up on time. Fans working perfectly, all mess tidied up.The only negative I would say is that I was quoted $95 hour for the electrician but ended up being charged an additional $65 hour for the apprentice who accompanied him. Seems a high hourly rate for an unqualified person to observe and assist. And I wasn't advised about this up front.
