Very bleak with the shop. I called and explained that we will be at the shop 17:33 to buy charcoal and a whole heap of goodies, I got the “we start at 07:30 and it’s a long day for us”. Lady I start work at 04:30 and finish at around 17:00 every day, 3 minutes would have retained me as a customer.

Shocking Behaviour by the Owner(s). I noticed the owners (mainly the Gentleman) been rude and nasty to a person of colour while I was in the store today. I have been supporting this place in Howick for years for my South African snack fix, but no more after what I witnessed. I understand times for businesses have been hard lately through the pandemic and cost of goods/living, but this is no excuse to bring those sentiments out AT ALL. i am actually saddened by what I saw. You need to apologise to that person publicly, as I could see they were taken aback but did not say anything.
