4 1/2 out of 5 stars!Communication was an 9/10Makeup on the day was amazing and Aimee listened and made me feel like no silly request was too much. She is so so good!There was another artist maybe called kaz who was lovely but felt super uncomfortable with the photographers around wanting to get mock trial shots which is a shame as in the wedding business you’d hope it would’ve been a tad easier!Other than that the day went smoothly and makeup was gorgeous I would definitely recommend these guys again xx

I made the booking with Karina, and I had Kaz (IG @kaz_makeupartist) on make up and another lady on hair on the day. These guys were easy to deal with, we did everything over email leading up to the day which was excellent as my H2B and I were in the middle of selling and buying a house. On the day, the artists arrived on time and got to work. It was great having two! I could have one bridesmaid on makeup while the other was getting her hair done. We had great chats and they were so much fun!

I'm a Wedding Celebrant and recommend Makeup Station to my Brides. I treated myself to be glammed up by a makeup artist for a recent wedding ~ Kas made me feel at ease with her friendly vibes as well as making me look like a million dollars ~ I felt fabulous!Karina's communication is speedy and her service is really easy to book plus she has a team of very talented artists to get you looking your bridal best!

Makeup artist Samara was good though communication with Karina was somewhat disappointing.Wedding day makeup - I paid for a trial and makeup for my wedding day. The day before my wedding I received a message from Karina advising that the artist scheduled to do my makeup had fallen ill and that another artist would be taking her place. As I understood that this was beyond their control I was in complete panic as I was not familiar with new artist taking her place.Being the day before my wedding I responded with concern and asked to ensure pictures of my trial were shared (and also hadto correct her as the address she had relayed was incorrect despite it being provided in a form sent through to her earlier. The initial message also lacked empathy or concern for how this would affect a bride the day before her wedding).I then received the following message showing again the lack of empathy or concern for her customer “We have the pictures from your trial. There is absolutely nothing we can do about an artist getting sick besides booking another artist to cover. Thank you for clarifying the address.”Luckily for me, Samara was amazing and did a wonderful job.I find this to be a key reflection of the type of service you should expect to receive from Makeup Station. Do with it as you will lol

Aimee and Rani did mine and my bridesmaid's hair and makeup for my wedding a few weeks ago and I was so happy with the result! The ladies really took the time and effort to make sure we looked great for the big day, and that everyone felt and looked their best. Aimee also did my hair and makeup trial before the wedding, and was so valuable in helping me get the perfect look. Can't recommend them enough! Karina was also very helpful in setting everything up for us, with very thorough and prompt communication. Thanks guys! :)

Hi Karina,Review for Samara..Thank you beautiful Samara...Thank you for doing my make up and hair styles for me and my 2 daughters. Samara had done a great work and was exactly what we wanted for the wedding. She did such a nice makeup on me and I was in love with how she had done my make-up. My daughters loved their hairstyle, Samara had been such a professional person to get hair styles and make up done. She was nice, kind and listened politely to how we wanted our hair and make up done. She kept professionalism throughout the time she was with us. She kept her workplace professionalism throughout the time she was with us. My makeup, she did exactly what I asked her to do for me, I was so happy. Thank you so much to Samara and I know where I need to get my make up and hair done if I needed...

Deepika was absolutely wonderful, and I cannot thank her enough for not only doing such beautiful work but also for being so gracious and patient when I had a cry session literally as she arrived. She didn't know I have Complex PTSD, yet she treated me with such kindness and professionalism and made all the difference to my being able to rise again into lightness and joy. She must have waited a good 30-45mins for me to recover, was gentle and caring when I managed to get to the makeup chair, and still managed to put all her effort and skill into creating the look I hoped for. And she nailed it! Even at the end of a long day of laughter, tears and dancing, my makeup was flawless and beautiful. Her warmth and care really helped me shake off the stress and step into the joy <3 Also Karina helped me out with an MUA on very short notice, and was so professiosnal and kind. 100% recommend this team to make your special day memorable in the best of ways <3
