This sunny book is a great place to eat lunch or have a relaxing cuppa (and is often utilised by local university students on breaks for this exact purpose). It's also home to an interesting sculpture. Sometimes people like in the sun on the grass and snooze. Unfortunately, the local craft beer bar sometimes ropes off part of the grassed area to add to its licensed area, but if you want to have a beer on the grass you might consider this a bonus.The park is cheery even in dull weather due to the use of colour in the landscaping.

Loving the new design. A great place for a lunch break/catch up + is dog and skateboarding friendly. Don't forget to grab a cold one from Rogue & Vagabond whilst there if you get the chance. I have also been told the park is now set up for live performances (hopefully coming soon).

An astounding example of council incompetence. The park was gifted way back in the 60s and still finds itself a victim of bureaucratic befuddlement.
