TLDR: Excellent service.I haven’t stepped foot in this shop in over 20 years since going with my parents. The service I got when I went in to buy a new pair of boots was outstanding. Spent A LOT of time trying different boots on trying to get the right fit. The boots I got was Salomon Quest 4 GTX. Perfect fit. Have and will definitely keeping recommending Living Simply to friends.

I went here three times already. These guys are not silly salesmen, they are outdoors people who know what they are selling and can give their personal advice on stuff. That really helped me when buying a sleeping pad for example.In my opinion: when you're in Auckland, you should go here first. If they don't have what you're looking for, only then go to competitor stores.

This is the best outdoor shop in Auckland, if not NZ. The staff are all experienced in the outdoors, know what they are talking about and are always super helpful. Keep doing what you’re doing guys :)

Bought a pair of boots that were not quite right for me. Ben worked on a solution which resulted in getting a good fit. Very experienced people with a sound knowledge base and wanting to make sure you get a product that's right for you. A service like that is not so easy to find these days.

I went to Living Simply to buy some tramping boots today. My receipt says I was served by Mary (so hopefully that’s right) The service was very professional, and she had great knowledge about all the different products. She was patient and very willing to answer questions and give tips. It’s a great business to support. Thanks heaps!
