Contact energy has a two word name. However, they’ve spelt it incorrectly. It should be spelt “Highway Robbery”.If I could give a lower score than 1 star, I would. Don’t ever use this company for any of their services.

These guys are highway robbers. Even when you’re on holiday, they find a way to jack up your energy bill, while destroying your internet connection. Choose anyone but these charlatans. 1 star is fortunate for them, as I can’t choose any lower. Absolute cheats.

Just spoke to Vicky from the call centre. Expected to be waiting for hours before speaking to a person but it was less than a minute. I'm moving house and had came across some issues with the online system. VIcky sorted it out for me quick smart and logged my issues for the IT team. Started the call feeling stressed. Finished feeling relieved and triumphant. Thank you to Vicky and the team at Contact.

Charged me as standard user for a whole year whereas I’m obviously a low user. Refused to recalculate the bill or refund the difference. So I informed to end the service and switch to another provider. Then they ended the service but disconnected my electricity and gas in the process! They never talked to my next service provider to make the switch. One word to sum up: TERRIBLE

Please beware, do not choose this company as your ISP!If I could give negative stars I would.I've never experienced such pathetic customer service.I've left multiple messages requesting call backs, no answer.I've called many times and have been on hold for 30 - 40 minutes +.After calling through at 5pm, and being on hold for an hour, I finally get through to a 'After hours support person', who tells me the broadband team is no longer working, even though their working hours are 7am to 7pm.The internet is horrific, regularly cutting up and very unstable. The wireless speeds are at 10% of what they've promised with fiber.Save your money, time, and sanity, and choose another company... ANY OTHER COMPANY!

Worse power company out most expensive in Newzealand they don’t stick to agreements and will hit you hard all they do is take thermos internet is slow as don’t recommend!
