Magic Loft

Kids had fun, the place looked clean but if you look harder there was a lot of uncleared areas. Was unpleasantly hot in October definitely needs more ventilation and fans

Looks like fairly new equipment. Nice, clean seating area. Air-con works well, wasn't a hot sticky mess. Kids had a lot of fun

Indoor playground with cafe that serves food and drinks. It's not as big as the other Magic Loft, but there are plenty of tables for adults to sit. The only problem is that you don't get a good view of the playground, so you can't keep an eye on the kids. Party rooms for hire, which can get quite stuffy inside. Parking can be challenging when busy

This place seems like it never has gotten clean. Quite dirty and few hazardous things. The mats on the floor were puffed up in a lot fo areas and missing gaps, cause a issue for kids to constantly trip on. They have fans and other air cons but we're not running it was really muggy and hot inside. Place closes at 4. We arrived at 1 and went to order food just after 2 and kitchen had closed at 2, leaving kids hungry as they hadn't had lunch. Seating area was so dirty we were here for 3 hours and not once did anyone come to clear food or wipe tables and looks. I've been to magic loft in browns bay and it's much bigger and so much cleaner. Won't be returning here

It's a nice enough place for the kids to have (safe) indoor play. I found it a little stressful the first time we went because there's not a lot of areas to keep a visual" on yr kids if you want to sit at the tables & relax for a bit. It took up to the 3rd time we went in the space of 6months

After hours birthday party. Was great. Large layout with lots of tables and chairs. It is freezing in there though if you're not playing.

My husband and kids been to Avondale branch this afternoon between 2-2.30pm today. We are regular customers and my kids usually come once a week and today my husband had a trouble with his card to pay and he informed the guy who served him that he is waiting for his brother to come and pay. He was ok with that and meantime my kids ran into the play area and he was with them until his brother come ,but the guy who served him came in and verbally abused my husband in front of my kids and my kids are still so anxious and scared about the way he behaved, my husband tried to explain him kindly but he behaved very aggressively and chased my husband and kids out of the play area.we we’re trying to get hold with the manager but no one didn’t let us and he didn’t have a name badge and didn’t stated his name at all. Finally my husband called the police and ended up putting a complaint against him at Avondale police station, I really wanted to know this person’s name because person with an anger issues is not suitable working in this kind of environment specially when kids are around. Not recommending for anyone and very bad customer service and behaviour.

Amazing. From the initial booking to the day of the party the team at Magic Loft had everything covered.Love that there is only 1 entrance into the play area from the Cafe which meant it was easier to keep tabs on the kids. The playground is also more suited for the younger ones - toddlers & babies which meant they could just go & play without a parent needing to follow.Highly recommend if you're looking at a clean & tidy location for a kids' party that makes it a stress-free experience. Thanks team!

Great place to explore and have fun with the kids. Lots to do for children of all ages. Sadly one of our independent children got stuck in the bathroom as the doors are weighted and couldn't open it herself.

Only entrance has steps so not suitable for prams. Lady on front counter was very rude. Play area does not have a gate. I had 2 under 2 to watch and one kept running out the play area towards the exit doors. Then other kids were doing the same. I paid $32 for both children which I thought was overpriced when I spent my whole time trying to stop my children running our. I came uo with a solution which worked but the staff were not happy. They said others has mentioned the issue before but still no gate?? Also the rubber matting was budging in areas which I tripped on multiple times. After I complained about the gate the woman begrudgingly offered a refund but was not pleasant to deal with.
