Nockies Palette & Stoneridge Cellar Door
We stopped by this gorgeous vineyard on a whim for a walk-in tasting. From start to finish, all of the wines were excellent quality! And the two gentlemen on staff provided delightful stories about the wines and their winemakers; they were so friendly and knowledgeable, truly making this a wonderful experience — much better than the rushed and impersonal tastings we had in the valley. I definitely recommend stopping here for a tasting or more!

Nockies Palette & Stoneridge Cellar Door
Awesome experience here as part of the Hop on Hop off tour. The girl looking after us (Stella) was very knowledgeable and informative and did a great job with the wine sampling. She was also friendly and great to chat with! The area itself is stunning with amazing views and beautiful buildings and gardens. There were some other visitors there painting which was cool to watch. I don't even usually drink wine but would definitely recommend this experience!

We had a wonderful tasting with Eliza and were grateful to learn a lot about a vineyard we weren’t familiar with. We loved the cellar door and beautiful artwork too. We even walked out as new club members and can’t wait for our first wine delivery!

Amazing knowledge of wines during our tasting, was great listening to the history of the property. The wines were all amazing and definitely had to make a purchase of my favourite to take back home. Staff were super friendly and the gardens and cottages are so beautiful.

Drove past on a whim, decided to check it out and it was a memorable experience! Eliza took me through the tasting and was absolutely lovely to chat to + very knowledgeable! She walked me through the premium tasting which was 4 reds & 1 chard, highly reccommend this one if you enjoy more reds. I enjoyed the atmosphere and decor, but it was Eliza's charm and obvious passion that truly made the experience much more valuable and personable. Thank you! Also, the gardens are small but the venue is so cute for taking photos!

Had an amazing afternoon here with my husband doing a wine tasting and then enjoying a bottle of wine (and cheese/cracker board) in the beautiful garden! Loved tasting the 6 different wines and learning about each, very informative and some gorgeous wines! Then chose our favourite wine to get a bottle of which we enjoyed outside in the sun - the view over the rose garden towards the hills is so stunning, could have stayed here all day! One of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand!

Amazing find! We stopped in and were treated to a very attentive tasting with no reservation. The grounds are beautifully manicured and there are tons of roses - so romantic! The wine cellar is inside a country cottage with shingles and stained glass windows. They also offer wine and painting. We tried one of each tasting option and enjoyed 11 different wine. The staff was very detailed and our sommelier explained all the wines in detail and also the art on each bottle which was very interesting! An unexpected gem worth a stop.

The premium wine tasting at Nockies Palette was an absolute highlight of our trip. We didn’t have a booking but we were were given the upmost of care while doing the tasting. The history of the winery truly enriched the tasting. We had Simon who was of such considerable knowledge about NZ wine as well of much else. The wines are smooth, complex, interesting and utterly delicious. The grounds are absolutely magical and as aforementioned, the depth of attention from staff made this so incredibly special. We could not recommend Nockies Palette more highly! We will remember our experience here for many years to come.

Beautiful outdoor space to enjoy a bottle. Very kind and friendly staff. We were lucky enough to enjoy their first commercial bottling of sparkling rose made in the classic champagne style. It was perfect for the warm weather. 10/10 would recommend visiting while in the Queenstown!

Can’t recommend this place enough and will be back for sure!Beautiful venue, cellar door and gardens, the perfect place to enjoy a wine and cheese board. Make sure you get the cheeseboard it was 10/10 and great value for money. Very friendly staff also made it a very pleasant
