We went over to Pauanui as visiting area and stopped for coffee and something to eat. It was a very busy bakery. Coffee lovely and hot, service quick and friendly. There is outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy coffee and food. Plenty of selection

Great spot for coffee in Pauanui and the kids love the bakery treats. Coffee is always good. Often a long wait because its good reputation, so in summer months expect a line. The waiting area is right by the playground, so the kids can play, and there are plenty of tables and chairs to sit on while you wait.

I wouldn't go back here to be honest. We ordered a sausage roll and a steak and cheese pie, which both weren't good. I also noticed a few flies in the right most cabinet which seemed trapped. The coffee was average at best.

We ordered coffee at this bakery and was told to go round the back and get the coffee from the window. We get round the back to find a large gathering of people waiting for coffee and so far we have been waiting for about 25 minutes and it still hasn’t arrived. If they had told us it would be this long we would never have ordered. Nor would the other people. Very very poor. Would never come again.

I think after eating here occasionally during the summer holidays over the past 10 years, I can safely review and say they sell the most awful food and pies in the world (for $5!) And everyone who regularly visits Pauanui knows it.

A must stop for pre picnic supplies. Fresh bread is baked daily and they make great coffee!!!!

Worst bakery I've ever been to in my entire life. Disgusting pie and sauasage roll. Steak and cheese pie, ate half the pie not a single piece of steak just some disgusting looking cat food jelly meat gravy. When I took it back to him he proceeded to squeeze it to bits to find pieces of steak and found 3 pieces to try justify the disgusting product they serve there.
