Poppies Kindergarten

By far the BEST kindergarten I have sent my kids to.. I have got 3 kids and my first one has just graduated from Poppies to go to Primary School and my second one is currently enrolled at Poppies, it is his 2nd year at Poppies this year. My youngest has just turned 5 months old, and I am 100% confident in saying that I am planning to send her to Poppies too right after she turns 2.Poppies is just amazing. Amazing teachers and facilities. I have been on a tour to quite a few kindergartens but I have never seen a cleaner / better facility than Poppies yet. I love the area upstairs as they can play in a spacious indoor area even when the weather is bad. The outdoor playground is a perfect size for 2-5 year olds.The biggest reason I am staying at Poppies (since the beginning of 2021) is the teachers. They have some amazing teachers who genuinely and sincerely care for every single child and they have got such wonderful personalities. I feel just so comfortable thinking that my kids are with those certain teachers. I have never felt anxious or concerned with the teachers at Poppies. My 2 kids have been at Poppies for 2 years now but I have never seen my kids cry when I drop them off and leave. They are just too happy being with the Poppies teachers.200% satisfied, and if I am to have more kids in the future, I will be sending every single one of them to Poppies again!

We have been at Poppies for a year now and are going to transition to school. My daughter’s year at Poppies has been the best. Inspite of starting there with covid restrictions, her welcome was smooth and she has not shed any tears. The teachers and kids have created a lovely, friendly atmosphere. We have been on outings, social events, made friends and mastered toilet training. It has been a very good experience. That you Rhiannon and the team.

Our son attended and graduated from Poppies last year and absolutely loved Poppies - from the wonderfully compassionate teachers to the nurturing environment and Transition to School programme.As parents, my husband and I proudly watched our son grow so much in confidence during his time at Poppies thanks to the guidance of a great team of teachers! It was always such a joy to drop off Lucas and have a chat with one of the teachers. Poppies is so welcoming and we felt at home from the start.We would highly recommend Poppies, especially to expats as we can also proudly say our son learned to speak English within 3 months of being at Poppies.Also a special thanks to Miss Tania for the sweet hugs Lucas looked forward to every morning!

Thanks to you to the amazing Poppies team for all you have done for Amelia over the last 3 years. Amelia has loved poppies so so much and will dearly miss all the team.She has been set up so well by the Poppies transisition to school team that I know she will have a great start.I can't recommend Poppies enough.

Poppies is the best kindergarten!My husband and I took time to find the right place for our son to attend. We visited a few places but never got the right feeling until we walked into Poppies!Rhiannon (the owner) is the friendliest most welcoming person, she took so much time to show us around the facility and introduce us to the teaches. She allowed our son to interact and join in on the activities while we chatted about the kindy and future schools our son would attend!Since then dropping my son off each day I have left with zero doubt by knowing my son is in the best care. It took time for our son to settle but they really helped in the transition, doing everything little thing to make him feel comfortable.Everything Poppies does for the children and community is amazing! They host numerous events and make sure you meet other parents to make friends!Sadly we had to leave Poppies early as we had to move, but Rhiannon and her staff made everything so easy for us. Their relaxed approach and flexibility during our move helped us immensely. We were able to add extra days for our son if they had space!I can’t recommend this kindergarten more. You and your children will be so happy there!

Poppies has a lovely and caring environment with excellent teachers that really know each child and caters to their personalities. Our child has thrived and come out of his shell here, we have loved our time here!

If you are looking for a kindergarten in Remuera area, this is the one. Highly recommended. Both my kids absolutely love going to Poppies. Caring and loving teachers with great facility and I am also very fond of their ‘Transition to school program’. Amazing kindy! - from Henry Kim

I only have good things about Poppies. The facility is amazing and so does the teachers. You could tell that they love to be with the kids. They also have a great program of activities which varies each day. My daughter only stayed a small amount of time as we had to move her to a facility closer to home, but she have great memories from the Poppies. Thanks guys for all you have done for us.

We've had a wonderful experience with Poppies Kindergarten. Both our daughters have spent 2-3 years each at Poppies, and have made some lifelong memories. Poppies has been a rewarding and positive learning experience for my children who attended for 3 years before starting primary. The teachers are caring and nurturing, whilst encouraging children to be independent and team players. Poppies is well-managed with a well-structured before-school transition programme, as well as many fun trips and events organised throughout the year. The facility is well-equipped with a large outdoor playground/sandpit area and upstairs open space for group activities. These are always maintained to a very high standard in terms of tidiness and cleanliness. Overall, we were very happy with our experience at Poppies.
