This is a family restaurant with amazing fish dishes, the menu is full of variety and the servings are huge! A total gem ! Highly recommend it !!!!!!

We went there twice. One was Saturday evening and the other was Friday evening. Surprisingly there was no seat on Saturday but we were the only customers on Friday night. The fish was fresh, but too salty, we had to drink lots of water. Also the serving portion was barely enough for a family of three if you don’t add toppings.

Stellar grilled fish restaurant with a range of broth options (8 I believe). We have had the classic spicy one and the mushroom broth, both were awesome. A wide range of veg and other ingredients can be added to the fish, though I'm not sure if there is an English menu for these. The owner is very friendly and willing to talk you through it if you want. The place is clean and cozy, the fish is crispy, the other dishes were all winners. Highly recommended, especially if you haven't had Chinese roast fish before.

Either I was over charged or it's way overpriced.This grilled fish with some added veges etc. plus another small dish cost altogether $123.Food was alright though.I would suggest not to add too many things to your fish. Just order other dishes separately.

I believe it offers the best grilled fish in Auckland. Initially, We were a little worried that the food would be a disappointment because of the littile reviews. To my surprised, every dish we ordered is yummy and we love this restaurant! The service was friendly and the dishes warmed my heart.

Been here many time over the years. Can see the price was rocketing. HOWEVER, love those spicy or pickled vege fish. They were excellent. If you are adventurous and want to try something different, give it a go. Order mild (very little spicy) if you can't handle spicy food.

Food:(5/5)We had the mild spicy grilled whole fish which was literally the best that I’ve ever had! Fish was deep fried so the skin was so flavourful and a bit crispy and the meat was so tender inside. We also ordered some extra veggies and meat to put into the pot which were so delicious with the fish soup. The cold dish was also very tasty.Service:(5/5)Family owned little restaurant, cosy and accommodating. The lady owner was super friendly.Highly recommended this little gem for grilled fish!

Made booking at 6:45pm, turned up at 6:42pm, there is not a remote chance of getting a table soon. I'm afraid the customer service is not quite there yet.

Decilious, fresh food, that is not overpowered with spices, but you can actually taste what you are eating and the various flavours. The place is clean and service lovely. We had dumplings and shredded lamb and both were really good! Will be back for sure. Thanks Jun :)

Gilled fish tastes terrible……Available fish in NZ are too small for gill.But everything else tastes authentic.Highly recommended but please don’t order grilled fish.
