Friendly service and easy setup to use the weigh bridge, turn around with a caravan etc. Weekends can be very busy so plan to visit mid-week if you don't want to queue up.

Extremely rude and unfriendly team. I have written a letter raising concerns regarding the aggressive and disrespectful way I was treated on my last visit… but sadly no response. It’s unfortunate that this is this is the only disposal point in Tauranga, they give the impression they can treat people any way they wish because there is no where else to go.

Too small, too far away, too busy. Hope you like your time being wasted in ques. Way too small for a city of taurangas size. I think the staff are good but the situation is out of their control created by a very poorly run city council. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Efficient, big, busy, everything they take, tvs, computers stove tops, radios and more, no cost for these difficult items to dump.Only criticism is that it is a messy dump but a worthwhile visit indeed.

Scales seem waaay off. Loaded trailer with a dozen smelly bags held at arm's length with 1 hand and a 2 man lifted thing that can't be more than 130kg (we aren't that strong lol). Charged for over 800kg.

The only time under pressure, I was the last person to back my trailer in. All the eyes were watching me that day. Lol, otherwise another day dumping rubbish watching by roof dwellers

Sorry but this is the fourth time a lady/ladies at the 'weigh bridge' have been rude and/or useless. I loved the way she said to me she had been busy, while I had waited 7 minutes or more watching her stuff food in her mouth though the glass window. Either you're being paid to work, or paid to eat (whatever it is) please get your staff to do a course in customer service and come back with a smile and the right can-do attitude at this dump (literally) Plus is overdue for council to get their act together and create/support some more recycling centres to actually cater for the amount of people in the Bay Of Plenty district.

Today's experience was surprisingly very positive. I was kindly directed to the recycling area and greeted by a man that was respectful, accommodating and highly professional. Thanks again for the additional information and overall great service.

The checkout receptionist charged me $22 for one bag of household rubbish. After arguing with her, she started calling me grampy. Sometime you have to be grampy to avoid being ripped off. No, I will not visit here again.
