Really enjoyed their pho & the fried spring rolls. The Vietnamese pancake was huge! And it was good & crunchy. Really good value for pho so 10/10 bring a friend :)

Hello Vietnam Restaurant
Been here a few times, most of which are pretty good, except for one time.The place always seems busy, and popular place, food is tasty and authentic, but sometimes popular items sell out, and parking is bit tricky to find.But this time, not sure if we ordered the wrong thing or the chef messed up or what happened, we wanted pho but got this shredded noodle pieces, not a fan of it.

I went to this restaurant because it was close to where I live, and the business was pretty good. I ordered beef noodles and chicken noodles. Beef noodles have a lot of meat. We also ordered Vietnamese spring rolls. This dish is not bad. The sauce is also authentic, crispy, sweet and sour.

Delicious! Authentic Vietnamese pho! Love the taste balance created by the lemon and the fresh chilli (available upon request). The fresh and crunchy sprout adds to the texture of the soft noodle. The medium rare beef is top notch as well! 5 star for sure!!

Have been here for lunch few times already. Here is always busy, and need to be waiting a long time for ordering food although after 2pm. Love this special drink.

Fantastic staff. A shout out to our server Michelle who was helpful and lovely. Food was excellent. We had the garlic prawns and curry fish and long beans.Update.So it's been a year since I last wrote the review. I still visit the restaurant regularly because the food is consistently good. The restaurant owner Bruce is also the epitome of a lovely host. Chatty and friendly. As an update their fried squid is lovely, as is their chicken with cashew nuts.

Wow. This is what an restaurant is, an owner who takes pride and talks to their customers. Authentic flavors, excellent customer service. Had 13, 46 and 56. Cannot fault at all. Only bad point is I'm only passing through, but is definitely the best I've had so far in Christchurch. Will come back whenever I am in town. Dessert was wonderful. Wife loved the flan.

We ordered set menu 2 for 6 people. The time between each dish was around 15 minutes and there was only single that looked to be about the same size plate as they were serving for one person for all 6 of us each time. Serving this way left us hungry in between each dish. When we asked the owner for bigger servings he said he we could ask for more at the end if we were still hungry, we were still hungry but didn't ask for more as it would take to long for it to arrive so we just asked for dessert ate it and left. For the most part the food was good, just it wasn't served quick enough and not enough of it for us to enjoy it. At $39 a person it's not good value for money. We won't be heading back here.
