Burwood Hospital

I was at Burwood Hospital for 2 weeks in the Rehab Ward going to Physio and working on my injured left ankle. Thanks to the fine work of everyone involved I was able to regain my independence with what I had learned.Everyone who worked there and it didn't matter who it was encouraged me with their attitude,good work ethic and duty of care.They were able to get the best out of me despite the fact the Health Sector is having various problems of it's own to deal with. Although my opinion may differ greatly from others I'm sticking to my opinion that these people who despite working under pressure at times showed me how to get the job done with a smile and I will be forever grateful to them all for the effort they all put in helping me on the road to recovery

Fantastic modern building, well laid out with a large cafe on the bottom floor, food is great, good selection. Coffee is also good. Excellent accessibility with a large number of disabled parks close to the entrance. Parks are well sized with plenty of room for disability equipment to be loaded in and out.Follow the signage and the carpark layout is easy enough.

All the staff I had the pleasure of dealing with in ward FG were absolutely amazing. An extremely compassionate and competent team that are giving their all despite being understaffed and underpaid.I was recovering from quite a serious surgery and the effort by the staff to aid my recovery and ensure my comfort during my stay massively exceeded my expectations.I could not have wished for a kinder group of people to help me during this difficult time, not only did I feel like I was being treated like a human being but almost like a family member. The culture and mood at this hospital is leagues above any other hospital I have had to stay at, we need more hospitals like this and healthcare professionals like the team at Burwood. I am forever grateful for everyone who aided me in my recovery and wish them all the best.

Went to a an evening here for a research program feedback. The facilities are awesome modern, comfortable and up to date with technology.Good car parking and easy to find where you need to be as reception is most helpful.

Initial time to be at day surgery 7.30am. This changed to 11.30am necessitating my husband having to reschedule work appointments to take me. Hopeless.... couldn't care less about patient anxiety. Tired of the worn out excuse...short staffed. No concern for people needing to have time off work. Still sitting in reception waiting at 12.10pm. Left the hospital after telling them to stick the surgery. This has been the norm at every specialist appointment too. Always waiting an hour plus over appointment time. Maybe its time to send an account to cover the cost of lost wages due to sitting around WAITING.

I can't speak highly enough of staff and facilities at Burwood. Nice green areas, top quality Cafe.

My review is solely bout the hair salon which is housed in the main building.I had hoped to give 5 star reviews but unfortunatly that wasn't to be.My friend sked for a brown colour put thru, the 2nd was my own colour results.My friend asked for brown but got black. My colour was asked to be foils across the top which once job finished was a disappointment as there appeared to be no colour change.Lovely afternoon away from the bed for mum but the results a failure
