Absolutely amazing!!! Unfortunately I had a very sick pet, which passed away. During this process the genuine concern and attention by everyone in the clinic, from the vet to staff at the front desk, not only in terms of seeing what could be done for our pet, but also for us as a family that was emotionally affected by the situation, was truly commendable and outstanding. Thank you so much.

We were in a desperate position after our cat went through a few days of hospitalisation and follow-up surgery was required. Already spent more than $5000 on a 24-hour care vet. Since our pet insurance refuses to cover the bill had to look for somewhere else for the surgery. Dr Steve from East Coast Bays Vet took the job when all the other vets refused to take on the case, and he did it for a quarter of the price that has been quoted for us by the 24-hour vet. To be honest, this is definitely the best vet clinic in Auckland. All doctors and nurses are extremely knowledgeable and caring. And they gave my greyhound the best treatment with very affordable cost, and it was super clearly estimated on the quote without any hidden cost at the end. Everything shows their professional from the step I walked in. All the small details like they have separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, and the weight scale was same with floor level so you don't need to push your large dog on the scale"

The best vet to go to! All the staff are amazing and welcoming, definitely be going to this vet clinic in the future. I will also recommend this clinic to friends and family. :) My dog loved the vet and staff, she never wags her tail in an unfamiliar place, but she does at the clinic.

I took both my elderly cats to this practice after I moved into the area and they have been wonderful over the last 2 and a half years. My 20 year old cat went for his last appointment in August and Vet Emma was lovely and made sure Toby went peacefully and I will be forever grateful for such a heartwarming experience after a pretty matter of fact end to my other cat in March. I had to take him to a different vet due to lack of appointments and I really regret it now...I would definitely recommend ECB Vets!

My family and I have been using this clinic for years! At least 10 years if not more. We used to bring our dog here who has now passed away and they were amazing when we bought him in to say goodbye. I now bring all 3 of my cats here and my family still bring their 2 dogs. I will now be bringing my new puppy here as well. They are incredible and I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else unless absolutely necessary and urgent. Never ever had a bad experience!

Highly recommand for Dr Emma Guy and all the lovely nurses and Julie at the receiption. So kind , professional and informative about all details. Pets get to go home with a little toy after each visits which is so thoughtful . The pricing is very reasonable too compared to my previous vet. Also they even have a cat only area in the waiting room separated from the dogs !

This clinic is an ISFM Cat friendly clinic and that is REALLY important- all clinics should be!!!! They are staying up to date with proper feline handling practices which results in less stress for your cat. Unfortunately the cat waiting room is still loud being next to the front desk and still close to the dog waiting area but the ‘cat parks’ are great as the cats cannot see any dogs and they provide cage covers if you don’t bring your own. They were more than happy to provide some calming medication for my girl to have at home before visiting to help reduce her stress. The way the vet and nurses handled my Daisy was gentle and caring. They let her come out of her carrier on her own, and if she didn’t they were going to remove the top of the carrier (which is correct practice- yay) to keep her as comfortable as possible. They did not scruff her (again correct practice- yay) and were very thorough in her exam- which I really appreciated as I’ve seen vets before who didn’t check her well and didn’t seem interested. We did bloods and a urinalysis which was really quick. They have followed up super well and it was all a super reasonable price too. Everyone should take their cats here. Daisy approves.
