Mmmmmm love there pie's.

Honestly best pie I've ever tasted.

I am new to Gisborne, so I have been on the hunt for the best pie in town. This is one of my first reviews, so I won't be able to say which place is the winner. This has been my first experience @ GMPC.As I walked towards the shop, I saw several people coming in and out the door which is always a good sign. I confidently ordered a Mince & Cheese Pie, and for $4.10 I was more than pleased with the amount of food I got in return. It was delicious from 1st to last bite; the crust was golden and cooked all the way through - both top and bottom, and the filling very flavourful. Excellent cheese-to-meat ratio, with the added bonus that they don't use preservatives. The lady that served me was super nice too, which is a lot to say especially for such busy places. It is no wonder the shop has been open for a long time, as this was one of the best pies I've ever had.

Stopped in and picked up some baked goods to takeaway. Had some small savouries ( very nice) and some Afghan biscuits (also good), service friendly and fast. Parking on street in front of shop.

Food is always fresh & tastes delicious.

Absolutely terrible experience. Purchased a steak and cheese pie, potato top pie and a sausage roll. Steak and cheese pie was full of grisly pieces of fat and a runny gravy as well as being over cooked. The sausage roll was ok but nothing to write home about

The best pies and sandwiches in town. Lovely friendly service every time.

Meh,had pies all around the country and found my pie average,took one home to the wife and with added salt it was way nicer,sad about my sausage roll experience too,a good sausage roll with onions and seasoning and flavor is hard to find, lovely staff thou

Best pie shop in Gisborne. Love the Steak & Kidney pie. Reasonably priced and lot of variety too.
