It would be nice if they spent money on this place as it's getting dated and needs a lot of T L C

I'm a member, good place to take the children and plenty of places to get food aswell

Great place for car shows ,,,lots of room,stands look like a lot of history has gone though them and hanging off them

Managed to get members only access $80 a head. There was 10 in our group and all excited to have a day at the races and enjoy the atmosphere. But the members access, entitled you to nothing except free water!!! It's a money making wrought. We arrived an hour and a half before the first race, there were no tables and no available seating inside, all reserved for owners. There are certainly no gentlemen left in this world, every single standing Male refused to give up their bar stool for an elderly lady.There were some bbq table and chairs outside with no shelter from Wellingtons notorious and relentless wind. Would have been far more pleasant to stay at home and watch the races on TV. A very disappointing and unpleasant day. We definitely wont be back.

Great place to come to. Disappointed in the sound in members stand or lack of it. Would make it a lot better if we could hear the bloody races instead of just guessing. A lot of comments from other patrons also on this issue.

Huge potential, but a lack of investment by its owners in the past 30 years holds it back from being a good place to be at during the summer race season.

Been let go. Mayor needs to realise if they did the place up more people will come. He's more interested in putting houses there

Very disappointing, we paid extra to book 3 tables in the members stand but found out it was on the ground floor with no view of the track. Would have been better to pay less and get the view from first floor.

Incredibly disappointed in the lack of empathy shown during a state of national emergency. After being unable to travel to Wellington for cup day due to the flooding in Auckland, was upsetting and disappointing to be refused a refund or a credit and also being unable to resell my tickets. If you are unable to attend a race day due to reasons beyond your control, Wellington races does not offer any options - they just want to keep your money while you remain out of pocket and unable to attend

Disappointing experience,paid $80 for nothing, no tables for sitting,no gentleman willing to part with a seat for lady to sit.ran out of coffee,no table clearing,drinks and rubbish everywhere.bar service great,bar people worked extremely hard.wont be back.
