Take your money elsewhere.The good reviews must be from long ago.The actual WORST customer service .Empty restaurant and staff just standing around having to be chased to help you.The butter chicken had hard chewy chicken. Rice tasted off. Burnt naan.Really not worth ordering from here.

Anokha Indian Restaurant
Took a chance on this local option on Easter Monday. Half expected to get food poisoning but didn’t - pleasantly surprised.Clearly short staffed but got there in the end. Had chicken tandoori, Sheri kebabs, popadums and butter naan. Chicken was a bit dry. Naan was superb.Would go back.

Appallingly slow service even with a manager, two waitresses and only a half full restaurant. They seemed very unorganised.We had to go up to the bar even to order.The food is mediocre for an Indian restaurant. Watery butter chicken.The atmosohere and decor at least is nice.

Used to like the place because their food tasted nice. Unfortunately had a bug in the takeout I ordered. Called to say there is a bug. Got complete flat out denial. Said that they have a clean kitchen and a bug cannot go in. They said I have bad eyesight and I am not looking at a bug but an ingredient. Like in what world am I going to mistake a black bug with obvious legs as something else?? I tried to reason with them saying that anywhere in the process e.g. you have an open door, a bug can come in and get in the food but they denied this completely. I said I wanted a refund as I obviously don't want food that has a bug in it. They said if I bring the food back AND they agree it is a bug theyll give me 30% refund. So not even a full refund if they acknowledge the bug. I got annoyed and said they haven't even apologised once during the whole phone call and they just hung up on me.In response to the owner, this was during a dinner service (mistake on my review) and was very definitely this restaurant as I used to go here regularly! Not surprised they are denying this is their restaurant considering the way they treat complaints in real life.

Don't bother to enter the door, appalling grumpy old woman as the Mgr, no smile, no service, has the 3 waitresses standing at reception watching you but not clearing your dishes, you had to keep chasing them to get drinks, its like they are puppets without thinking. The Mgr never looked up or was at all helpful, the worst place ever. We will never return. It was so hot in the room they never turned the aircon on even after we asked. It's absolutely disgusting and to think that we went there to celebrate my birthday well what a horrid memory that place turned out to be.The waitresses do not know how to be a waitress, the Mgr is at fault there and should not be at the front desk as bad for business.No customer service at all.

Highly disappointed in this place. Aside from the lack of management’s customer service and obvious lack of training of staff.Only one waitress is clearly capable of doing the job and unfortunately seemed run off her feet as the other two literally stood at the bar doing nothing but stare at everyone.Forever waiting for service and dishes to be cleared.The restaurant was far to hot inside side with no action on the aircon when we asked staff.The manager clearly ignored any new guests that walked in and stood at the entrance to be served. Very rude!Food has been good the last couple of visits however 4 of us were very sick following this last visit. Definitely not impressed as we were out for a birthday dinner but can honestly say will not be going back.

Wouldn’t recommend at all, expensive Indian food with really poor quality and quantity. Customer service was good , I mean the girls who were serving however the old lady at the cashier was rude, unfriendly and had the weird look at her face all the time.Ambience was pretty bad, there was meaty smell in the whole restaurant which was unpleasant, specially while you eat your meal. The dinner plates were dirty too.Waste of money!!!
