Zaknich Farms - 125 Waitakere Road Farm
Been there on the 2nd day of the new year. Most of big ones were gone and we had to hunt for them under/between the leaves. Mostly found small ones. However the strawberries were so sweet. We will visit again at an earlier date next summer.Free entry/sampling and just pay $7/kg when you take them home.

Been there last week with my family. As it says that is end of season we didn't expect much and went there for just fun but surprisingly we could pick many strawberries, and they were sweet too!The special price was extra bonus, and buying strawberries were even cheaper❣There are some pond and stream line that you need to be careful about especially for small kids, otherwise the farm provides toilet facilities so great place for summer outing :)

Nice and spacious farms to pick strawberries! A good thing is that we don't even need to pay entrance fees. Peaceful as it is not crowded. The ice creams are also good and at reasonable price

Zaknich Farms - 125 Waitakere Road Farm
Best pick your own in West Auckland- large farm with plenty of places that are not heavily picked. No entry fee ( yes some PYO have entry fees) $6kg which is a fair price. Bring your own containers as they only have buckets ( not best unless you are picking only for jam). A 2litre Icecream plastic container is about a kg.Pick at furtherest ends for the biggest berries, people too lazy to walk far.9 am opening.

It was a fun activity to take children or collect Strawberries for jams or even eating fresh. There is a lot of plants so distancing was easy and a lot of ripe berries for the picking. Takes about 1-2hrs and reasonably priced. An ice-cream can be reward at the end.

Zaknich Farms - 125 Waitakere Road Farm
Zaknich is the best farm for PYO in West Auckland. The strawberries are big almost the size of small tomatoes and sweet. Plenty of parking and very friendly personnel. They accept EFTPOS and charge you only for what you pick. No rounding off. And no entry fee. Try the fresh strawberry ice-cream after the pick.
