BestStart Montessori The Children's House

I have 2 of my children attending here and could not be happier knowing that they are learning, exploring and thriving every day at BestStart Montessori.I didn't know much about Montessori but can honestly say that it has been a blessing to both my kids (who have very different personalities!). The teachers here all have a genuine love for the children and their learning journeys and I love how it feels like one big family. Not to mention their fees are affordable!I could not recommend this pre-school more.With a new baby on the way, we will no doubt be signing him up to attend as soon as he can :)

This place is magic. The teachers are all Monti qualified and show extreme interest and care in each child (collective and individually). There is an abundance of resources available. The Children's House has set the standard for all Education Centres.

My little one went to BS montesori for 2 and a half years, untill he reached 5. It is almost an year since he left this place, but he still misses this place a lot.All the teachers were so helpfull and helped him a lot to form his behaviour.Thank you so much kala, shrin, mridula, fan, nikki, sanjini and christine.

100% recommend this center. Both of my children went there and I'm absolutely happy with staff, learning programs and the overall atmosphere.Most of the teachers have been in the center for many years and are genuinely love their job, they are kind and i haven't heard any complaints about them from either kids or parents. The center is relatively small, so kids have a great care and support in their learning. Academics are taught very well, my son learned his ABC and numbers perfectly despite we don't speak/teach English at home. He lives his kindy and very happy to go there everyday. Montessori environment has definitely helped my kids to be organized, to get confidence in their ideas and skills and leadership. As a parent I see a great confidence in them and just can't recommend this center enough

Highly recommend this childcare! Two of my tamariki have attended. The teachers are amazing, caring and nurturing. Both kids have progressed a lot with their learning and development, and look forward to kura every day. It's a very diverse daycare and they welcome all cultures and backgrounds. My kids are Samoan, Maori and Malaysian Chinese and their culture and identity is always embraced. I love this daycare and always feel assured that my kids are receiving the best care & education when I'm at mahi.

Best Start Montessori's greatest asset is its teachers and staff. A lovely, clean, nourishing and welcoming space where identity, culture and care is celebrated and welcomed. The centre manager is flexible, supportive and a mother to all and so are the teachers. I feel that my son has grown so much at the centre. He enjoys going to school, trusts his teachers and feels safe and secure. I highly recommend the centre for those who are looking for an extended home setting.

We cannot praise this place enough, not only we have a strong belief in Montessori but the tremendous support and love the staff has shown to us.We watch our little girl blossoms from all sort of practical and social skills, from a timid person to a 5 year old who is confident to share her feelings, to be kind yet standing up for herself, to make friends but also just as capable to working on her own.Thank you so much :)

I have 2 children who have gone through Montessori Children’s House. I would have 3 enrolled if it was not for our change in residence. I can’t speak highly enough about the centre and staff. If you believe these early years are the most precious for your child’s growth and development then this is the childcare you want. The centre practises the philosophy founded by Dr Maria Montessori. Guiding the children in a prepared environment where they have freedom of choice. Learning self-awareness and discipline to be confident and self-motivated. Whilst caring for the environment and those around them. Although they are a Montessori pre-school the fees are very reasonable because they come under the Best Start brand. The centre Manager is very accommodating with what ever your individual needs are. She is very much hands on with the children who she genuinely loves in her care. The staff grow a great bond with the children that help them feel safe and loved. My children love attending each day and look forward to going to ‘Monty’. There are 2 rooms Ruma Iti (2 year olds) and Ruma Nui (3 and above). The centre has a great transition process. Whether your child is toilet trained or not, the Ruma Iti ladies help guide your child to wear big boy pants! So by the time they reach Ruma Nui they are more independent and ready to take on the next exciting stage of life skills. Utilising more complex and expensive Montessori equipment. The outdoor environment is huge with a courtyard, play ground, sand pit, small whare, with real grass and big beautiful trees. Lots of room to explore! The centre has regular events you can attend to be apart of with your child, their teachers and friends. Storypark is the online tool used to get regular updates on your child and is a great way of communicating. So it goes without saying I will miss Montessori Children’s House. I will forever be grateful for all the teachings given with unconditional Aroha. I know the very first seeds planted from Monty will only blossom as fruits in Primary School and later in adult life.

The best kindergarten we have ever seen! Very attentive and supportive teachers, cleanliness and order, a wide variety of toys for child development, and most importantly - daily support during adaptation. We love this place!

BestStart Montessori The Children’s Home provides beautiful care for all children. Our vibrant, energetic toddler is developing so well since she has started. Her language, passion for learning, and for life continues to grow. The teaching team are warm, friendly and very supportive, they listen to you and understand what is important for your child. They work alongside you as a parent to support your child's strengths and development. The impact that they have made on our daughter's life thus far is just wonderful. She is developing so well and we really do credit much of that to the staff at BestStart Montessori The Children’s Home. The centre administrators always have a smile on their face and are so accomodating to us parents aswell, you will feel like home when you are at BestStart Montessori. They are understanding and kind hearted group of people. If you are looking for a centre that is community focused and that has your aspirations for you and your child at heart, I would strongly recommend BestStart Montessori The Children’s Home.
