Bought their steak and pepper pie and custard pie. They really need to work on their pastries. The pastries are just not right. Their steak pie pastry is thick and bready, their custard pie pastry is thick and not short. The pie supposed to be steak and pepper but it's steak and mushroom inside. The price is not that cheap either. Despite poorly made bake goods, service is adequate.

I had what tasted like coffee, I'd ordered a flat white, and my friend had some fish and chips with a coffee. He didn't seem to mind but I guess our palates differ and he smokes, so that may dull his taste buds.Rhe only reason that I'd go back is because of the friendliness of the people who served us, and, of course it was also a neat shop which is well situated.

Opens early about 3.30 am all pies made on site ,if you don't see it they will make ! Cheap . I drink long blacks coffee which are great . And other kinds of coffee using Roma beans do a good lookingbacon and egg breakfast as we'llSome days they sell a boil up , most days they sell boil up pies . Not my thing but guys I work with love em

Just got food from here, Toasted Sammy bacon n egg dry old. Sausage bit in to and the most foul off smell and taste, chips and chicken cold. I use to come here alot a year ago now standards have dropped big time. Hopefully I don't get sick from the sausage... Stay clear of this place disgusting

The name says Bakery but not much freshly baked goods available. Most of the counter food was wrapped in cling film. The sandwiches had sweated so the bread was damp - perhaps because it was a Saturday? Being in East Tamaki they would get a lot of trade from the surrounding factories.Coffee was a pleasant surprise and there was a barista training certificate on display.

9 out 10 for all hot food top breakfast many choices. chicken, meats, bacon, all sizes of burgers make your own, best hot pies all made in there own bakery, coffee tea chocolate all available at very reasonable prices a must for satisfying a quick hunger.

I have been going to this place time to time for many years, and recently I noticed that their pies are not in a good condition. I bought chicken and vegetable pie and the pie was off. I noticed that the bottom part of the pie and the paper bag around that bottom area was very watery which suggests that its not a freshly prepared pie… probably they knew they were selling the old pie but didn’t even say a word, but I noticed that as I was picking up the pie they were sort of eyeing me out… As I come to think of it now, it’s an indication that they knew that the pie was old…So disappointing.
