Lovely informative walk round this welcoming city. Kit and Ken, our guides were great and I loved their thoughts and views on development there. So thank you, we hope to return.

We joined the walking tour im August. Our guide was Joyce. We enjoyed the walk a lot.Joyce was very informative and could answer all our many questions. She was passionate and managed to transmit us her love for the city. She took time and extra effort so that we could see as much as possible. We only had 1 day and a half in Wellington and we learnt so much about the city thanks to Joyce. Thanks so much!

We attended several tours around the world in very different cities. Unfortunately, this tour in Wellington was one of the worst we’ve ever had. Our tour guide was almost whispering the whole tour and was speaking extremely monotone. It was very hard to follow him as a non-native speaker.

Great tour with plenty of information without it feeling like there's an exam at the end! Thanks Peter, just the right balance.

Summary:Had an okay tour with an elderly lady who had issues remembering her tour, but did remember to make multiple political and racist remarks.Did a walking tour with Robyn about a week ago. While she was lovely, she seemed to struggle remembering the simple narrative she was trying to tell us about the city. I don’t mind if little details are lost or missed, but the key messages she was trying to share with us seemed a challenge for her to remember. The tour ended at parliament where she recalled a time of Covid-19 protests where I quote: “uneducated brown people were jeering at me when I walked past”. That along with other political remarks were rather distasteful. One great thing is the guides are all volunteers and the money goes towards the restoration of this city’s wonderful buildings.I’d still recommend coming on this tour as it sounds like some of the other guides can give a great experience, just a bit unlucky in our case.
