The perfect place to chill and relax my husband and myself come here on a regular basis, we love it here the atmosphere is down to earth and everyone is friendly. We planned a trip there but due to the slips we can't get there but don't worry we will be back lol. Bruce is awesome just as long as you don't do anything stupid he leaves you alone lol. Try the caravan for the best fish n chips.

Awesome place to pitch a tent with a beautiful view, very nice prices as well. The staff here were so kind and welcoming. Definitely recommend. We will be coming back often.

Awesome place to stay but unfortunately won’t be back. Twice now we have had our gear stolen from outside our cabin. Management had the same answer both times not knowing we were the same people. Very suspect. Will not put up simple signs like lock it or loss it as it is “not a good look” for him. Yes we did take all our valuables from our boats but thief’s always manage to find something! Very disappointing!

The camp looks full from the road but those are permanent caravans/buses. There is a huge grass field behind it with heaps of space for visitors/backpackers. The view was really nice on the ocean/bay west of Coromendal.The hot shower was really great, good pressure and only 50c for 5 minutes which was perfect. There is also a common kitchen area with sinks/microwave/stove/fridge.Owner was extremely kind and we had nice talks with him and anyone who was staying there in permanent lots. Price/quality is good. Definitely recommend if you visit Coromendal peninsula!

Have stayed here 3 times over the years,and every stay has been great. It's perfect for me and my little family to chill away from city life.Am looking at coming back in a few months, having trouble getting on the website to book in though. May have to bother them with a call :)

We just enjoyed the best, most relaxed, peaceful holiday we've had in a long time. We loved it at Tapu camp and definitely will be back. Great views, good fishing, friendly staff.

Bruce runs an old school, good feels camp. Everyone's friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and the facilities are great. The camp shop is basic and has all you need and there's a pub across the road serving cold beer and good pub meals. We'll definitely be back.
