One of the best fish and chips shops in Blenheim. Previous owner of Main Street Fish and Chips. Great serving size, great value, and friendly service. Fish bites are awesome!

The best fish in Blenheim. After tasting fish from almost all Fish and Chips store in Blenheim (especially Witherlea and Redwoodtown areas), I found Witherlea Takeaways fish the best. Well cooked to perfection. Enough portions/quantity and decent pricing. I like their Pineapple Pickle and is a must try.

The first time we have had fish and chips from here - huge pieces of blue cod with not too much batter, nice and crispy and nice crisp wedges. First rate takeaway.

We tried a few bites of different things and none of it tasted right. The hoki was both thin and fishy and the batter was bland. The American hotdog was a weird red color and the batter was overly greasy. The cheeseburger was full of onions and didn't taste like real meat. I especially disliked the beet and the sweetness of the mayo. This was a bummer because it looked really good and tasted particularly bad.The 1/2 of scoop of fires was the smallest I've ever seen from a fish and chips shop. Also the chips weren't properly salted.This place is a hard no" for me. I'm fascinated it received great reviews. I can only guess it's locals who grew up on it believing it's more special than it is."

I popped in just to have a little bite since this place was recommended to me. They had four types of fish available on that day, I got the butterfish with fries. The fish was beautifully crumbed and the texture was just perfect. The fries were piping hot but I just couldn't resist stuffing my mouth. Overall, I will definitely be coming back for more.

Would have to say we had the $23 family pack with 2 wonderful fresh hoki fish and a massive yum hotdog and 2 yummy mini hotdogs and 6 chicken nuggets and 1.5 of chips we loved the quantity and taste very filling thank you (and handing the order to your customer is a lovely personal touch

We bought Fish and Chips here recently and loved the fact they had a Gluten Free option too! The fish was amazing!
