Bike Barn New Lynn

I was very disappointed on more than one occasion when I visited bike barn in New Lynn. I'm sure I had the same man talk to me as the woman who worked there was very helpful. I was asking for advice on a bike for my 3 year old. He rushed me and basically said he couldn't help as they were too busy and couldn't put a bike on show as they still needed to be built. On second visit, I had bought a bike elsewhere (seeing as they weren't too helpful) but needed it checked over. It had already been put together but I asked the man if someone would be able to quickly look at the brakes but not to do anything else. He told me he couldn't help as he needed to do stock take and no-one else was free. Good customer service goes a long way, definitely not willing to go the extra mile.

Took a wheel in with problems (my fault - and was purchased elsewhere) - the tech took the time to discuss the options with me and even gave advice on how to do the repair myself. Decided to use them and they did a great job on time and for a fair reasonable cost. Can't fault the service, . I must admit that earlier in the year I called in for some puncture repair kits and the 2 staff members seemed quite new and didn't really know much about the kits - but the recent visits, including repair above, staff have been great - knowledgeable and friendly. thanks team

Bought mine through their website and talked to the best customer representative through email and was very satisfied with the transaction. They were very accomodating and saw to it that I get the right bike I needed. I got my money’s worth and I am really happy!! Bike Barn New Lynn did a good job assembling it. Thanks so much! Would recommend it to my friends for sure!

I have experienced the worst customer service at New Lynn Bike Bran . I have ordered my little boys birthday gift from them and it mend to be assembled for pick up yesterday. Before i visit the store I've given a phone call just to make sure it's been built for pick up.They have confirmed it will be ready by 10.15 am. So I've arrived the store at about 12.00pm . My little boy was so excited to pick up his new bike . When we talk to the person in the counter (He Said he is the Manager) he was angrily said it wasn't ready for pick up. Then I asked why no one informed me when i phoned you this morning. He was really rude. The way he raced his voice made my Lillie boy scared too.No apology or anything. Just been bloody rude...And then I asked for a refund . He said it will take 4 days to get a refund. I was shocked. But I haven't had any choice ask him to process the refund in 4 days as I really didn't want to get after sale service from a such a bad place. They ruined my son's birthday gift. I wanted to make a complaint and I asked his name. He didn't give his name at all. Shouted back to us and walked away from the counter.Worst experienced. I would rather buy a bike from Warehouse NEVER EVER GO TO BIKE BARN NEWLYNN. IF the Manger act like that.... Well we don't need to talk about the co workers.Hate it.

Verry disappointed by the customer service, I was expecting a good quality of the tools I buy and it just broke after one use... went there today for a change and the super frenly manager told me i use the tools wrongly that's why the tool broke....so, he didn't want to change it... I highly not recommend !

Have had two bikes and an 11 speed internal hub over the past few months. Issues get dealt with quickly and without fuss. I don't know how long they've been a team but certainly seem to all get along and know their subject. Thoroughly recommend.

Terrible customer service... personally i like the boy apprentice much better to serve me, he offers much better service than his higher upps, gives you detailed info when you ask him and even gives you gis personal though to really help you get the item you want in contrast with his boss. I really dont like it here but got no choice because its the closest bike shop for me

Not impressed. Bought a bike - rear spokes bent a week after. When I came to store - the clerk took the bike and gave me 5 working days to pick it up. Then first they couldn't find the bike! Then they made me ($30.00+) pay for it as they claimed the bike went over a pot-hole and got bent, hence not over warranty (It's a kids bike and there are no potholes here!). The rear wheel tyre does not match the front. 3 things wrong...not to mention the bad service!Photos attached! Shoddy workmanship!Young lady who used it is barely seven years, how can someone who is less than 17kg break the rear tyre rim. She lives well out of town, so a weekend casual trip to New Lynn to get her bike fixed is impossible.Please for once do something that will earn you six stars and gain a customer for life, not what we have experience!

Very slow service. Service I requested was a small one. They seem uninterested in doing it on time. My cycle was not ready on the given date. They took 3 days to repair a flat tire replacement. Spare new tire was provided by us. Unlike other Bike Barns, this was disappointing. Hope they improve, and welcome customers like the really mean it. :)

I was very impress by young sales person I think his name was Connor very helpful and excellent service given by him. also as a first time buyer he help me pick out a new bike.
