I have never dealt with a more arrogant and ignorant engineer in my intire carrier within the Civil industry over the last 20 years. Everything seems to be a problem and every solution needs to be as complicated and expensive as possible to the client. His inability to look at alternative solutions or even discuss other ideas will end up causing delays, upsetting contractors and increasing the cost to your project. One thing you will get plenty of is pride and a condescending attitude. In this industry we should all be working as a team in the interests of the client as they pay the bills, not our own interest or to be glorified by our title.
