DO NOT USE DEVONCHE.I started the process with them in April 2021 for our November wedding with a fully custom suit. 7 Months of leeway, halfway through it they said that the fabric had been damaged and we had to pick a new one....but that it would still turn up on time. Lockdowns would not have affected this because the suits are not made in NZ. It came to a week before November 20th, and still no suit. It came to January 2022, and still no suit. After multiple continuous daily emails to them I finally got it posted in February to me, it was shoved into a postal bag that was much too small. Then the suit barely fit anyway...got it altered by someone else because aint no way I was gonna deal with Devonche again. The only bright light was that it was a lockdown wedding.DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE HAVING NO COMMUNICATION, TERRIBLE SERVICE AND NOT MEETING PROMISES

I bought a bespoke wedding suit from Devonche. From the initial meeting to the final fitting, the service was excellent. Dev clearly knows his suits, current styles and most importantly what would suit me for the big day.He guided me through the entire process and my wife and I couldn't have been happier with the result.I had never bought a custom made suit before, and others who had were surprised at the relatively low cost for the high quality of suit I received.When the suit arrived it fitted me perfectly bar a small alternation in the sleeve length and I was blown away by the customized detailing.I need a black suit for general occasions and will be going back to Devonche for it!!

I finally decided to make the move to custom made suits and I can't go back now.Devonche provide fantastic, high quality suits that look amazing. Ken and Dev really take their time to make sure you get the final product that you are after.The entire process is easy and fast! Couldn't be more happier with my suit and would 100% recommend to everyone.Thanks guys!

This is the only BAD experience we had leading up to our wedding. My husband and his groomsmen's suits arrived 2 days before the wedding and NONE OF THEM FIT. Instead of being made slightly big which could then be fitted, they were all made too small with no space for alterations Chris was so confident they could fix the suits. We were not, and asked for the suits to be fixed as soon as possible because if they could not fix them we would have to buy another suit. 1 day out from the wedding we are told by Chris that the suits wouldn't be ready until 8pm (after being promised they would be pushed as urgent and done earlier). Of course, the boys went in again for a fitting and the suits still didn't fit. What made it worse was no one was apologetic and seemed to care that they had messed up and created a lot of unnecessary stress. Devon and Chris just kept coming up with excuses with the confidence they could fix them (the seams were coming apart in Husbands pants and they could barely be buttoned up and he was still told its ok they are double stitched". Devon was also very rude and unprofessional when trying to deal with him on the phone. The boys finally had to demand they get their deposits so they could go to the mall to find suits the NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING. Thankfully they had amazing service at Rembrandt Sylvia Park where the salesman went completely out of his way to get the boys suits. They weren't what we had planned for but they still looked amazing and we still managed to have a beautiful day no thanks to these people."

Job well-done & great customer service by Ryan and the team at Devonche, flawless suits & shirts were delivered in the end. Ryan was a great communicator throughout the entire process, never have I seen a man who can so effortlessly make small talk while being so efficient at his work.

Just got married two weeks back, Im so thankful for being recommended you guys. I got a suit for myself and 4 groomsmen and another 5 mates. We went through like 3 or 4 consults, and went through an full design experience. He even didn't mind for a design change of my tuxedo. Then we had our fittings, and got some adjustments done and within 3 days he turned it around and had it ready for us. YOU GUYS WERE PERFECT!!!We got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on our day. So grateful for the technical help and your patience with us.

Super stoked with my suit!! Got it for my wedding in a month's time, and nothing has ever fit me just like this. The whole process was amazing! I don't think I've ever seen something like this here. From choosing my fabric to my first fitting and now we have the suit. Even the shirt is so nice, it fits perfectly. It was just stress free and honest, couldn't have asked for more.So glad I went with you guys, thanks again to all of you!!

Had a great experience having my (women's) suit custom-made. Dev was very friendly and accommodating. Had to have a few alterations done with them before it was finally finished and there were still a few minor issues with fitting in the end but this may have been something they would have been happy to fix if I had let them know - I needed to use it soon after I finally received it so didn't end up raising the issue with them. In any case suit was very professional and well-made and looked amazing.

The worst product and service we have ever gotten. (Hence this is the first negative review I have ever wtitten). This photo was taken 3 weeks ago after the second round of alterations since my fiancé’s tuxedo arrived from India; where Devonches’ things are made. First time we received it, the sleeves were too short (surprised since apparently it’s ‘made to fit’) so we asked about the 3-D scan that is advertised on their website since my fiancé never got a scan and they said it’s done by regular photos (which isn’t true). Anyway the shawl lapel was super thick and looked like a robe and we were assured by the store assistant that that was a standard shawl lapel size (and after googling and looking at several images we know that’s not true). The pants were supposed to be tapered but they werent. Those things we thought were easy to fix so at that point we were not too bothered but then when we came back it was even worse (see picture). So much wrong that I don’t even know where to start, once again the shop assistant tried to brush the faults of the tuxedo off and I’m sure he would have sent us away with the tuxedo if we didn’t say anything. Anyway this time he sent us directly to LookSmart (where they outsource for alterations) and we have had to visit them twice already and they still haven’t got it right. We need to go back again in a couple of days to get his sleeves fixed. Our wedding is in a couple of weeks. We are just glad we got onto making the suit early because this alteration process has been lengthy and a nightmare. I guess this wouldn’t happen if there really was a 3-D scan. The experience would be much better if Devonche owned their responsibility and gave us some confidence instead of sending us off to someone else to get alterations. If I had known I would not have paid $1.3K.

You want the best suit, best design experience, you want to look and feel like a million bucks. Well Dev and Devonche are the place to go. I have bought two suits from Devonche and couldn't of had a better experience and time in designing my suit. I stood out from the crowd and got great compliments from guests. All for a fraction of the cost from any other tailoring company. Highly recommend!!
