Owairaka Athletics | Junior and Senior Athletics Club | Auckland | Owairaka Athletics is a friendly athletics club based at the Lovelock Track in Mt Roskill, Auckland. We run cross country and road during the winter, have a full junior athletics programme in the summer, and cater to all ages and abilities.

An athletic club with a long history in coaching, and athletic performance. Have a vast athletic fields that you use to train, such as running tracks, long jump, hurdle jumps to name a few; as well as a big field that you can also use for soccer when it wasn't used for athletics training. Staff members are friendly and supportive. They also have tiered membership that will suits almost everyone.

Excellent place for your fitness need. It has an amazing track that you can use for walking, jogging or running if you are fit enough.

Cool, dark place in Winter..only shelter at Public toilets and Owairaka Athletics clubrooms..Building Open for training evenings Tuesday and Thursdays 5-7pm during winter months.June, Juky, August..floodlights around Lovelock track good..sports clothing actuve wear necessary for all training sessions:0

Friendliest athletics club in town. Tuesday and Thursday group runs at 6pm, Wednesday night youth runs. Always lots going on at the track.

Took my two young sons(6year & 3year old) for the first time and was yelled at, (a blonde lady literally screamed at as), by a young couple jogging around the track. I was oblivious, as I carried my toddler across the track towards the centre grass area and did not see the two joggers. My two sons had fun though. Great parent helpers who lead the kids athletics (javelin, hurdles, jump rope, long jump & sprints). If you're considering taking your kids here for the Athletics, be careful of the foot traffic on the track and also any flying objects (i.e. shot put).
