Everything was picture perfect, until I saw the rubbish bin surrounded by plastic rubbish bags. It's a compacting bin so why was it chokka? We did look! The council may need to pay for an extra collection there.

The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. The store stocks a surprising number of different products. If you need something, chances are, they will have it! From hinges to fishing gear, from sushi seaweed to passionfruit topping for your ice-cream, you will find it at the Mahia Beach Store!

All the essentials, including Gisborne beer and quite a good selection of wines. Not cheap obviously but in part with other or of the way places. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Definitely cool to have such a good variety at this pretty colorful collection of hot food, groceries, and local surf wear,very yum chicken and chips! All your staples, with Fruit and Veg, really handy!Extremely busy in summer and long weekend's. Be mindful of parking and foot traffic easily collide.
