I've been doing quite a lot of renovation work on my house with a lot of different companies and contractors, everyone I used are serious professional contractors and solid Dunedin companies with a good reputation. The heat pump install from Josh stands out *way* above all the other work I've had done, the absolute best advice, best workmanship, and the best value. Dunedin is lucky to have someone this good.

Josh installed our Fujitsu heat pump a few months ago and has been flawless. Had the job done quick and tidy. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again next time. Cheers

I found Josh awesome to deal with from the initial session where he came and reviewed what I was after, to the follow up quotes with a number of options I had talked about and then finally the installation of the heat pump.On the day Josh arrived when he said he would and got straight to work while still humouring me for some chit chat! Apart from the required drilling through concrete noise he was pretty quiet as I continued to work. He had obviously put some thought into some of the problems we discovered at the review session and he was finished in pretty quick time.I would definitely use Josh for all my future heating needs.

I would recommend these guys without hesitation. I own a residential property in Dunedin but live in Auckland which can be problematic when a tradie is required. My experience has been jobs can drag out but this was not the case.He turned up when he said he would at a time that worked for my tenant and myself. Josh was very straightforward and knowledgeable to deal with. He and his staff were prompt and through in their workmanship. Communication was excellent with me being kept up to date on progress via emails and phone calls. Charges were fair and nothing was too much trouble.What more can I say??

Josh and his team were an excellent choice for our ducted heatpump system. We got three different quotes and his was the cheapest by several thousand dollars. He quoted for a smaller system than the others and it turns out he was absolutely right. Anything bigger would've been unnecessary, adding additional cost. He also offers the Mitsubishi range which was the brand we were after (they have a good reputation for being reliable).One small issue we had was how difficult it was to choose a grate option from a really grainy jpeg. In the end we chose wrong and I think we ended up splitting the cost as the company (grate provider- not Otago Heating and Ventilation) wouldn't accept returns. Having samples would be ideal.We also had our control panel installed much lower than we thought we had agreed. Make sure you're clear on where light switch" height is in your home. I think this was more the electrician's fault than Josh's.Both issues were corrected quite easily and to our satisfaction.Josh was clear and responsive to all our questions. Overall we were extremely happy with his service and will use him for all our future heating needs. We've also recommended Otago Heating and Ventilation to several friends. We are happy to have our ducted heat pump system everyday
