TLC Drycleaners Ponsonby

I recently had some drapes drycleaned and they look amazing, even got a water mark out of the thermal backing where I had left the window slightly open. Very pleased.

My suit has been ruined. Owner said that it has faded. How? You can't fade a 55% polyester and 45% Viscose Its so obviously the chemicals they used and its has yellow patches all over. They are to blame and would not accept fault which is bad customer service. I wasn't even asking for a refund.Hopless

My favourite place for my drycleaning , it's very good job to fresh my very old feather duvet up and looks like new one , well done.

Terrible service. Completely destroyed our curtain it all stuck together and ended up with holes in it. We could not use it and it was only 4 years old. They argued and charged us full price for the dry clean even though it was ruined and they would not back down. NEVER USE THIS PLACE there are much better dry cleaners across the road.

Warning: make sure you check your garments before paying! The ruined a perfectly good blazer in what was a very simple job. Any other dry cleaner could have done it.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!Really wish I'd read the reviews before I took items to this drycleaner! As with others they have completely ruined my husbands expensive coat and told us it was like that when we dropped it off! There was absolutely no admission of any fault and the woman was almost laughing at us and telling us we were wrong and didn't know what the coat looked like previously.I don't know how anyone can expect to run a business and treat their customers this way. We will be spreading the word!

I WOULD NOT USE THIS DRYCLEANER. I purchased a beautiful $400 purple silk blouse and bought it here for it's first dryclean. They used the wrong chemical on it and now it's ruined. What's worse is that they told me it was a fabric issue and not their fault. The Boutique Manager phoned them and tried to calmly explain what the issue was and they yelled at her and slammed the phone down. Just disgraceful.And thanks for your reply below. The splotches are literally all over the garment including the arms! - and it's a loose fitting swingy blouse so your argument is not professional and totally incorrect. As you can see from the other reviews, I am not the only one whose items you have ruined and then dealt with in a very unprofessional manner.

Terrible service, ruined a blouse of mine and said the marks were there beforehand even when I had proof they weren’t and they never made note of it on the receipt. Refused to accept responsibility and wouldn’t let me take my other items without paying for the ruined one. Been here a few times and nothing ever gets properly cleaned, don’t waste your time

NEVER USING THIS DRY CLEARNER AGAIN! I am extremely disappointing and will not be returning. I brought in a silk dress to get dry cleaned and it has come back with three tears in the fabric. Instead of saying that they were sorry and wanting to help me she denied it and was saying the fabric was faulty. I'm devastated and their Service is the worst!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANERIf I could give zero stars I would. This place destroyed a pair of my trousers and aggressively refused to even discuss that they did it. The lady called me a liar, she wouldn’t talk about helping to have them fixed, she just kept saying “you did it, you did it”. The trousers are unwearable now with the damage they caused. I had 3 other things cleaned there that were fine and I told them that, and reasonably said they obviously made a mistake and what could we do to sort it out, but the lady only wanted to argue with me. Don’t ever trust your clothes with this place. They call themselves TLC but they are not tender, they have no love for it, and they literally do not care about you as a customer. I am very angry about the experience and will tell everyone I know.
