Mork & Mindys Food 'To Go'

Was visiting PN for the evening and found this place via Siri. Nice an clean inside, plenty of staff. Pretty busy, which is always a good sign. We just had basic fish and chips. The fish was really meaty and nicely cooked. The chips were lovely, best I've had for ages.

Chips are really nice here and a very clean takeaway with good service.

Chips were fresh and crispy and my chicken fillet burger was well made, pineapple is an interesting but tasty filling to be made standard throughout their range. Place has decent value.

Not the closest fish and chip shop to me but it’s the one I always go too.Great food great people and large portions.I see a couple of people have mentioned the waiting time but that’s obviously because they are so popular! Well worth it when I have to wait but if they tell you 15 minutes on the phone it’s usually 15 minutes!Make sure you try the chicken fillets and the nasi goreng.

Last night we had crumbed fish and chips. They were very nice, the best i have in PN for a very long time. If they are the same next time I will a rating if 5. Thank you, keep up the excellent qualty.Had fish and chips last night (30 Dec 22), they were not nice at all will be reluctant to go back, probably a bad time for the shop to purchase fresh fish!!

The first time I ordered my family and I food from here about a year ago, we were waiting half an hour only to find out they “forgot” all about our order and had to reorder it. (Positives being that they didn’t ask for a second payment, and the food was decent and not cold). Although I wasn’t happy about it, I put it down to them being inundated with orders (there were about 15 people waiting and phone orders coming through).So given this and the amount of positive reviews we tried a second time (last week) where there was only one other person waiting, we were ignored and then they served a man who turned up after us who genuinely thought we’d already been served and were waiting standing in front of the counter. If it wasn’t for my four year old who asked for chips and was too hangry to go somewhere else after what was already a long day we would’ve walked right out.. We certainly WON’T be eating from here again! I definitely wouldn’t recommend especially if you’re a new customer of theirs, otherwise they’ll give proper customer service going from what I saw. If I could give negative stars I would!

Ordered 2 fish burgers & 3 hamburgers, the fish in both burgers was not cooked right through only one small slice of beetroot in both (a teaspoon slice), a little piece of lettuce in both and a tiny bit of tartare sauce in both fish burgers. As for the hamburgers not much of anything & meat undercooked such a shame first time here was hoping this fish and chip shop was going to be our main takeaway shop as we don't live far from here. Unhappy children lost a family as customers.

Very nice pineapple burger $4.80. good size fish, 3 big chicken wings, half a scoop of chips and a can of L&P for $14. All n all very nice.
