Shore Dance

Absolutely amazing dance school. Both my daughters have danced here since they were 3 years old. The studio is purpose built with floor to ceiling mirrors along the wall which helps students with their positioning on the bar. The pre school classes are a lovely introduction to dance with fun exercises building the foundation for later levels. We have had several different teachers and all have been wonderful. Definitely recommend.

We love being part of Shore dance. My daughter has been going to classes for over 2 years and has loved it! She is really excited about the new mid year performance opportunities coming up and I love how the teachers are so supportive. Highly recommend.

Shore Dance is an amazing community to be apart of. Only been here a short while but the staff and students you are surrounded by make you feel so welcomed immediately! Not to mention, all the kids work insanely hard and are always giving everything a go! I would recommend this studio to anyone at any age wanting to start dance classes in a warm and welcome environment!

Whitney is a wonderful leader who goes out of her way to support students and families to get the most of of their classes. The dancers are a great representation of the culture at Shore Dance because they are kind and supportive of one another. A wonderful environment for families and dancers keen to find a love of movement.

Our 6yr old daughter has been doing ballet at Shore Dance for 1.5yrs now and loves it! Miss Hannah is not only an amazing dancer but also a friendly and patient teacher.The end of year show is super cute plus a confidence builder - for our daughter anyway - and is a must for family to come and watch. Highly recommend SD for any young ones with an interest in dance.

My daughter started to learn ballet at Shore Dance Studio when she was 3 years old. Now she is 11 and in Grade 5 class. She enjoyed the ballet class very much and will continue to go upper level. All the teachers of Shore Dance are amazing! At each end of year, there would be a fantastic show that deserver to be recommended to everyone!

Both my 2 daughters and I dance at Shore Dance and we love it! My 3 year old loves the pre-primary ballet class as each week they go on different adventures; flying in planes, riding on trains, being fairies and butterflies, the list goes on. It’s such a fun way for young kids to be introduced to ballet techniques. My 7 year old does ballet and tap and both classes are excellent. The teachers are knowledgeable and caring and keep the kids engaged. I’m in an adult tap class and I love that I’ve been able to pick up a new skill as an adult. Not many dance schools offer adult tap so I’m grateful Shore Dance does.The staff here are all really friendly and caring and it’s like one big family. I highly recommend this dance school.

Shore Dance has become my home away from home. Their dance family have made me feel comfortable and free to be my dance self. A great deal of who I am came from dancing through my childhood, and I’m so thankful to find a place where I can give all of the passion, thrill, and joy I discovered in dance to young dancers.There is so much love and spirit in this studio that everyone will feel welcome ❤️Thank you, Shore Dance.

Inclusive and welcoming!We registered for ballet classes at Shore Dance Studio as soon as we arrived în New Zealand from Europe, so my 3.5 years old daughter didn't know much English, back then.We really love having her enrolled here because the teachers make learning fun for little kids, proving that dancing is trully an universal language. Special thanks to our teacher Grace! She is simply amazing, very patient and dedicated and her name seems just predestined for her.
