Having your wedding dress custom made and hoping the dressmaker can realise your vision can be a pretty stressful experience! Vanessa really helped put myself and my mums nerves at ease, and created the most beautiful two piece wedding dress including creating the pattern and sewing the lace onto tulle for the top, and hand stitching on a billion beads and crystals! Not to mention creating the most luxurious sweeping train. From the moment we sat down together and I showed her a photo of something I was hoping to achieve, I knew I was in the best hands. She went to the ends of the earth to make something beautiful and I felt like a goddess on my wedding day. I've seen some of her couture work as well and it's insanely creative and amazing. She's even submitted work to World of Wearable Arts. I couldn't recommend Vanessa highly enough, I've had friends also have garments made by her, and I would definitely engage her for any more custom clothing in the future.

I knew how good Vanessa was, I'd seen her work on another very particular bride (no offence Angie). I feel priviledge and honoured to have had my Wedding dress, my two daughters matchong outfits, my hubby and son matching waist coat and ties tailored by Vanessa - tied in perfectly. A creation from my mind came to real life and way beyond expectations, the way she got us working together to create something incredible.I gave Vanessa vintage lace I picked up from Trade Me and WOW what a beautiful creation fitting like a glove. I hope to work with you again Vanessa beautiful soul and talented like no other. Thanks for keeping the price realistic.

I wish to thank Vanessa for my beautiful wedding outfit, which was a 3/4 length lace dress and satin coat. Vanessa came up with the idea to sew a label inside my coat which ended up being my something blue, this meant so much to me. The whole experience was amazing, i found Vanessa to be a great listener, patient and consultative during the journey, a true professional. She made me feel comfortable and most important gave me what i wanted. I highly recommend Vanessa anyday.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have Vanessa create two gowns for me, both times when I’ve been a bridesmaid.Vanessa is quite simply a magician. With very little direction from me, she was able to draw out (literally!) my preferences, sketching something so I could ‘see’ it before we started. Her knowledge of fabrics and the way they drape, the light, the different methods she uses.. all just mind-blowing.Her workmanship is exquisite - I have ended up with two gowns that fit and flatter my (size 18) body, highlighting my best features and skimming gently over those I preferred less - in both instances I wore the gowns with comfort and felt like a million dollars.In fact, when my Mother married and I was her Maid of Honour, the gown Vanessa created for me was so lovely, I wore it a second time.If you are considering having Vanessa work with you on something, simply go ahead and do it - you are guaranteed a masterpiece, all while getting to share time with her - you will come to know her as I did; accommodating, warm and genuine.
