Good prompt service. Good communication and advice

Service not like it used to be. We used this company to install our garage door when it was built over 20 years ago. They have been back on at least 2 occasions when springs have broken. Recently a spring went again, and our experience with them was less than thrilling. After leaving an out-of-hours email for them explaining we had no way of getting our cars out of the garage, by 9.30am the next morning they had not made contact. On phoning, I was told 'oh, have not looked at the emails yet'...are they really in business! I explained the problem and was told they would try and get to me that day. I asked if they would like my phone number only to be told 'it was on the system'. Well apparently it wasn't! Having not heard from them by 2.30pm I phoned back and was told they had left about 3 messages for me. When I enquired which number they called, it was a totally different number. They had the address, when not call by, we're not 1000 miles away! They said they would not be able to come that day as they were back at the depot. I stewed for half an hour, and rang back, explaining they had stuffed up, and should show up, as I needed to use the car. That was at 3pm......at 4.55 they turned up, most uncommunicative couple, no apologies for their mistake over the phone number.....Did they repair in half an hour, reasonable charge, but I won't be calling them again. Can definitely do better in the communication area, by by email and phone.

I had a really great experience with them repairing my garage door! They sent someone over the very next morning, who was very helpful and knew how to fix the issue, and gave me good advice to help prevent it in the future.
