Didn’t quite know what to expect, was blown away with everything!The bikes were brilliant - well maintained and so easy to use. Could go as easy or hard as you like.We’re in our 50’s and our daughter 12 years old. The trail was very easy to follow with no difficult spots anywhere, so anyone can do this ride.The views were amazing with tonnes of photo opportunities. Riding beside the river was just spectacular. We even saw people surfing the river!The Pembroke Patisserie (as recommended by David) was possibly the best pastry I’ve ever eaten.David was very knowledgeable, not only regarding the bikes and track but with the local area and its history.If we hadn’t had other activities arranged for the remainder of our trip I would have definitely done it again!!

From the easy booking process to the prompt communication, safety briefing and ebike hire David made the whole process so easy. He has tremendous knowledge which he imparts professionally and his friendly approach was appreciated.David’s e-bikes are exceptionally well maintained, new and easy to ride. The supplied helmets were top quality and David took the time to ensure the correct fit as well as ensuring we were comfortable with using the bikes.The initial meeting was so easy and it was wonderful to be picked up and transported in comfort at the end of the ride.We can’t recommend David and NZ Bike Trails highly enough. They are both a credit to the industry. You won’t be disappointed by booking with them.On another note the Dunstan Trail ride is FANTASTIC with spectacular views and changing scenery. We loved it and will definitely be back to book again with NZ Bike Trails!

We live in Queenstown area and this is one of the BEST thing we have done in the Central Otago region. Definitely worth doing! David is amazing! He is very knowledgeable, helpful and very attentive.All bikes are very new, all the gear are so clean and tidy. Before we start our trip, David explained everything to us such as how to get on the trial and what to expect on the trail! He taught us how to operate the e-bike and make sure everyone is comfortable with our bike before journey start. I haven't been on a bike for 10 years and David's bikes are so easy to operate and I have built my confidence really quick and definitely love this 42km journey with my bike. Very comfortable Mercedes-Benz van to take us back from Clyde to Cromwell.EVERYTHING IS JUST PERFECT ON THIS TRIP! Make sure you book with nzbiketrails if you wanna get on Lake Dunston Trail.We will be back!Highly recommended to everyone! ❤️Thanks David!

We had a great day out with NZ Bike Trails riding the Dunston River Trail. The bikes were top quality and David met us a regular points to ensure we were alright and everything was going smoothly. Finished the day with a boat ride back from Clyde to Cromwell. Would definitely recommend.

Thank David for incredible day my brother and I are regular bike riders and we had read some information about Dunstan Lake. Well the articles did not do it justice. It was the best ride I have done the scenery is unbelievable you will not see better. Big thank you to David for an extremely well organised day out on the Dunstan Trail. David explained everything about the bikes and trail really well and what we were going to encounter. The bikes were in excellent condition and functioned well. This is probably the best trail we've ridden and would highly recommend it to other bikers, and also recommend the professionalism of NZ Bike Trails.

My smile is still rolling on thanks to David and James at NZ Bike Trails and Andrew from Lake Dunstan Explorer. We did the ultimate Dunstan experience and everything from start to finish was superb. The shuttle service, the E-bikes, ride briefing, incredible scenery, boat trip and great recommendations for food along the way including Carrick Winery for coffee and cake, award winning Venison burger at Burger a float and cold beers to end the trip at Oliver’s in Clyde! Highly recommend. They deserve their 5 star rating!

Lake Dunstan Track. We booked David through the info centre and didn’t really know anything about the ride. Well, what a fantastic day David provided!! From pick-up to interesting commentary to a very good safety briefing (the only one we received on multiple rides in NZ). The e-bikes were great, and David checked-in on us regularly. Loved the tips/local knowledge to. Highly recommend!!
