Eco-Ants

Ants was recommended to me to sort out my E bike Battery after it had failed because it got water inside.His service was second to none, but the thing that stood out was he is one of a dying breed, a true fix it man.After finding parts were no long available for my battery, instead of throwing it away he set to and rebuilt it with a variety of parts to get it going again.It all works like a dreamGreat service at a reasonable price, I highly recommend him.

Brilliant bike hire. We hired two electric bikes for 3 weeks so that we could really get out and explore while camper vanning around the South Island over the Xmas period 2016. Ants was really friendly, professional and helpful. His electric bikes were very well prepared and a real pleasure to use. It was hard to find e-bikes to rent for a long period and we feel we struck lucky when we found Ants - give him a look.

Was having trouble with my ebike battery not charging. Had a few people in Auckland look at it only to be told that it was no good and by a new battery. Did some googling and came across eco-ants. Made contact via email and explained the situation. Sent the battery to him and was pleasantly surprised to here back the battery was repaired and good as new again. Honest, awesome pricing and knows his stuff. I would highly recommend Ants to anyone. Thanks again.

What a find! Ants is awesome, so helpful and knowledgeable about e-bikes as well as passionate and enthusiastic and uses them himself for trips and transport. He's efficient, reliable, has great communication and is a fantastic person to deal with. We have bought new and reconditioned batteries from Ants and the service has been excellent. He has been extremely helpful with technical advice whenever we have needed it. We live a long way from Christchurch and Ants helped us to purchase a second hand e-bike, pack it, and freight it to us and it arrived in perfect condition, he had taken such great care with the packing. We highly recommend Ants!

Ants serviced and checked over an eZee electric bike that I had bought second hand on Trade Me. He carried out the work quickly and he was able to rectify a couple of safety issues as well, as he knows these bikes well. He also offered impartial advice as to the best way to repair generic bike issues. Most usefully, he also took the time to help familiarise me with the bike and its components. He offered plenty of helpful tips for how to get the most of it and make it work well because, while e-bikes are great, there is a small learning curve to getting everything set up and to looking after them. Ants was really helpful in this regard. He was also able to source parts for me for a good price.

I recently had the good luck to find Eco-Ants. I was telling my boss about the problem I was having with my e-bike she recommended I contact Eco-Ants as she had had an excellent result with her bike using this company. I must say I wasn't dissappointed. Ants is very helpful and will go the extra mile to get a great result. His charges are very reasonable and I found Ants very easy to talk to. I will certainly use this company again.

My newish E bike was basically a right off after I was run into on a cycleway in Christchurch. Ant put on both his bicycle and sustainability hats and long story short i have my trusted and reliable bike back ready for more adventures and riding too and from work. I can not recommend Ant enough he is passionate about ebikes and has done a fabulous job repairing my bike.
