Unity’s focus on local writers and poets is so incredible and needed for the community! I found (and bought) the debut collection of a local poet I had heard speak at a poetry night a couple months back—thank you.

Unity is a fantastic bookshop with a wide range of books on all topics. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Ask for a card and after 10 books have been purchased you get the average cost of the 10 bought ones deducted from the next book or books purchased.

Easily the best bookshop I've ever been to. Normally it takes weeks of searching to find a book that interests me, but browsing the shelves at Unity Books I found more than 5 I wanted to leave with that I'd never heard of before.Also stocks local poetry. It was recommended to us independently at least 3 times, and I pass on that recommendation to you.

Really wonderful bookstore that has well-curated selections. Love their sale bin up front. They have poetry, nonfiction, fiction, and more. I also love the highlights of NZ authors. The rotating staff picks make it easy to find something new!

Such a beautiful bookstore. You can find most of book here. I love how I can find so many books that normally I have to shipped internationally from bookdepository. They sure have collections that other bookstore doesn’t have. Store is very clean and tidy too. If I stay for too long, I might give up on my bank Account. Lol
