We found out about this place through a few clients of mine. Cute wee spot hidden behind the bus stop in Jville. Food and staff were great, and will definitely be coming back again!

Food was delicious, I had the vege breakfast. Cabinet Food looks yummy and inviting. The food and coffee is very expensive but worth it. Would recommend

I love common ground, not just for the delicious food and coffee. But also the great atmosphere. Its the perfect place to work or study, or hang out after going to the library. The staff are always friendly regardless of how rushed off their feet they are!Best cheese scones in Wellington, and fantastic hazelnut lattes. Never disappointed.

Had the pumpkin feta walnut filo very nice however could not find a single morsel of walnut nor taste it. Must say their Mochachino was really nice.

Lovely little cafe inside the library. Lots of dietary options for vegetarians and vegans. Could expand the menu a little bit more to provide plant based variations on standard menu items.Place is warm, there are a lot of tables, and you can browse the magazines in the library while you wait.Wifi supplied by the council is very slow so can’t recommend it as a place to work until they fix the internet set up.

I found this gem of a cafe by accident as I'm from out of town and needed to charge my EV. The food was delicious - best Thai beef salad I've had in a long time. The service was fast, efficient and the team was very friendly. Although I got my food to go, the atmosphere in the cafe was lovely. Will certainly be back!

It’s not often you find a cafe that ticks all the boxes; friendly staff, great atmosphere, good food and amazing coffee.The service was quick but more importantly it was done with a smile.They have a great selection of vegan foods, and what I’ve tried so far has been delicious so I look forward to going back to try the rest.Common Ground is a must visit, even if you aren’t local, it’s well worth the trip out to Johnsonville.

Every time I check out this Cafe, it's very busy. Today, we got a table outside and it was better there to catch up with my friend as it was quiet compared to dining inside the Cafe.The food was divine. Enjoyed every morsel of my choice.

Appauling experience of utter catering chaos at this overpriced cafe which today at lunchtime was pretty awful. Took 25m to get a coffee and nowhere to sit. Having waited 10 minutes for a table to become available, we are our lunch. After 30 minutes at the table our plates and coffee cups were whisked away and 5 minutes later we were told that if we’d finished, people were waiting for the table so we left (stupidly). Diabolical treatment of customers who had paid for lunch. We will never return.
